I've been looking around for a way to hook up my Surefire M961 and PEQ box to a double pressure switch. It looks like the ones available from Surefire directly dont use the standard 3.5mm jack. Would it be very difficult to splice the wires from the current Surefire pressure pad with a double pressure switch from HK? I'm assuming this is the easiest path?

Not at all. In fact all you need to do is open the PEQ box, locate where the pressure pad attaches to and either solder or hot glue your second pad to it. If you don't have much experience with a soldering iron, just use hot glue so that you don't get solder on anything else. Also, put a knot of the pressure pad inside the box so it doesn't pull loose.
