I don't have a picture of my most recent impression but I will soon. Its interesting how much I've learned and collected since when I started getting together a WW2 Airsoft kit back in 07. That seems like a long time ago now .

Thanks man! Yea I am glad I saved them too. I do need to clean my photobucket account though I have nothing else to say.
As far as the gear goes I got it from Reenactments, used on the WWII Airsoft and Reenactors Forum, eBay, 1944 Newsletter, and Old Paratrooper. Some of my friends had some recent bad dealings with the two last people I mentioned though.

The last German loadout in the timeline cost me $310. The Last US Infantry one only cost me around $140. ;D

Very cool. Nice to see something different for a change. Do you play at fields with this loadout? If so, how effective is it? I would imagine its very light weight.

I actually have only been to one MiA event, which was a CQB and Phoenix Tactical. Otherwise I attend my own WW2 Events and use the loadouts at Blank fire reenactments.

Yes the US loadout is pretty lightweight. Most soldiers left behind stuff like haversacks and shovels when in Combat. Gas Mask bags were often ditched altogether or sometimes just the gas mask so the bag could be kept to store other things.
Unfortunately for the Germans one could get in trouble for throwing away gear. So the average soldat was stuck with this clanky gas mask canister.

I have no idea what person would design something as impractical as a metal can for use in combat . I don't have mine yet though so I don't have to worry about it.

As far as effectiveness it can be, they did it in WW2 after all . I have had some trouble getting my belt and such adjusted properly as when it is not it can be a pain. That goes for any equipment belt though. Like anything a players effectiveness can often be based on how he plays rather then what he plays with, although good weapons and equipment do help ;D .

Sgttom..did you measure the alignment of your collar tabs? They look a little off I have nothing else to say.

Yep they are a bit off. Could be expected for a field sew on ;D.

Thanks man. I think I am pretty much done with US for now. I might complete some sort of US kit in the future but for now all my effort has to go to German equipment.
