a1,
They won't care how thin your balaclava is as long as it's there. This is one of those asinine rules where whether not you're actually protected doesn't matter, so long as you look protected.

This mask rule has killed 3 other guys that were going to come but now they decided against it cause they dont want to buy one for $20 at wally-world.
BTW I still have my original +2 going.

Please add me to the roster.
Also I didn't see any specific time for crono, do you operate on an honor system for FPS limits? I ask since I don't really know what FPS will be running as I've never had the chance to crono my Kokusai gas rig and would like to what its running at, if possible.
Thanks

Kinda sorta, but I'm fairly certain the straps from the mask, the strap from my goggles and my helmet will keep my ears perfectly fine.

We tend not to chrono everybody before game play because we're working on a limited time frame, what with the park dictating the hours. We like to get people as much game time as possible. If we get a complaint about a gun, we pull the offending player out and chrono his gun immediately. Most of the time we're getting repeat players, so most people at the game know about what they're shooting.
We do have a chrono on site (and I can bring mine as well) if you just want to test your gun out before the game. That's always something we're happy to facilitate.
Crassic, "keep your ears fine" is different from keeping your ears covered. Remember, this isn't about actual protection (you know, because insurance is backwards), but about looking protected. You need to have something physically covering your ears, specifically covering the hole in the center of your ears, which is what the insurance companies are really worried about.

Your group is already on the roster. IMPORTANT UPDATE REMINDERDue to the new ownership, their insurance requires that ALL the participants use a standard Barrel Condom. We are no longer allowed to use gloves, socks, hats, or any other home made contraption to act as a barrel condom even if there is absolutely no way a bb can ever get through. You can buy those things for very cheap just about anywhere so please do so before Saturday. Also I was told that there will be barrel condoms available for sale or for rent at no limits on Saturday as well. If you have any questions, just post here.

Roster updated.
Also update on the barrel condoms. There are no more rentals available for saturday as they have all been rented out already. They will be available for purchase for $7.00 so if you want to save a few bucks I would go the same route as kjones and go to dunhams. I believe the last time I checked the wal mart at 7 mile & middlebelt they still had a few although I can't remember how much they cost there.
If anyone else knows where barrel condoms can be purchased locally and are still available, please post here.

Hopefully the rain holds off until the afternoon and cools us down in the heat of the day. For anybody wondering, we will play in the rain, but if there's lightning we've got to wait for it to pass. Lightning is no good when you're running around in a field holding 3 foot metal rods.
