Dang, I haven't heard anyone talk about an MRE rails in a few years. That's some old school G&P stuff right there. I think it will work though. I would use the PRI flip up replica just to be safe though (HA this is the one you didn't like, nevermind then!), unless you're trying to stay SR16 specific.
Why don't you like the PRI flip up? Its a classic
The suppressor should fit inside the MRE rail but wait until you get it so you can measure the minimum diameter that would fit, and then take off about 1/16th of an inch just to be sure.
You're doing a pretty old school build, I hope it'll turn out well.

I would prefer the SR-16 flip sites to the SPR/PRI flip sites. Just a style an preference.
I guess get the kit an change out parts later? But I kinda need an inner barrel to use it for the time being. 407mm length an 6.01 diameter for the M4A1 carbine outer barrel an 300mm/6.01 for M4 CQBR inner barrel? Thats according to my mathematics.
