April 19th 2011, Fidel Castro concedes power to Raúl Castro.
April 23rd 2011, Thousands of civilians, motivated by change in leadership begin marching in the streets demanding higher wages, political and personal freedoms.
April 24th 2011, The protests turn violent as the government of Raúl Castro begins attacking protestors on the streets. Hundreds are reported killed.
April 26th 2011, Air Force General Juan Soto defects from the Cuban government forces and aligns himself and 3,000 of his most loyal soldiers to the opposition cause. His armories at Base Aérea Holguin, located outside of Guantánamo, Cuba, are opened to any protesters who wish to take up arms against the Cuban government. Rebel forces are estimated to be upwards of 10,000 strong. Opposition leadership requests aid from NATO and the United States.
April 29th 2011, ODA 7351 from 3rd Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group is sent to Guantanamo Bay Naval Base in preparation for the link up with opposition forces at Base Aérea Holguin. Meanwhile, members of the CIA's Special Activities Division Special Operations Group make a clandestine rendezvous with ranking members of the opposition in Guantánamo.
May 2nd 2011, ODA 7351 completes prep work for their liaison with opposition forces at Base Aérea Holguin. The rendezvous is scheduled for that night; an over the beach operation with a landing zone around a desolate portion of Route 20, which runs parallel to Base Aérea Holguin.
May 3rd 2011, Members of the CIA's SAD SOG unit in conjunction with local opposition forces successfully rendezvous with ODA 7351 on a deserted portion of Route 20. The ODA is then escorted to Base Aérea Holguin to begin training the paramilitaries. Training commences that afternoon, with 7351 training the first 200 rebels.
May 23rd 2011, Basic guerrilla warfare training is completed and in the following days, a combined force of CIA paramilitaries, Indigenous rebel forces and ODA 7351 quickly take control of the Eastern half of the island with the Western front peaking at Camagüey, Cuba.
May 26th 2011, With the aid of newly trained, CIA backed paramilitaries, the plans for an assault on Havana is planned from the front lines at Camaguey. It's estimated that, by now, the total force of trained guerillas is in the region of 1,000, with military defectors estimated to be around 7,000. US CENTCOM, seeking a swift end to the conflict, orders ODA 7351 and its guerilla allies to take both Cárdenas and Matanzas, Cuba.
May 27th 2011, ODA 7351 and their guerilla force bypass Santa Clara in order for a Cuban led force to take the city due to its strong ties to the current regime.
May 28th 2011, Early in the morning ODA 7351 plans to take an airfield outside of Cárdenas in order for two air assault platoons of Rangers from 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment to be airlifted into the area prior to the assault.

Walk-Ons: Walk-ons WILL be allowed but you need to bring a uniform that can properly place you on EITHER team or be prepared to be turned away. It is not fair to the players who have pre-registered.

*Send a PM to CQBR or Roughneck. You need to have a veteran player on either MiA or ODA561 or a host of a past Michigan MilSim event vouch for your level of integrity and ability to follow the rules while playing.

Goggles/Face Protection:
Full seal goggles are a requirement. NO EXCEPTIONS.
If you are caught using shooting glasses or any other non-fullseal eyepro, you will be ejected from the event without warning.
FPS Restrictions:
Standard MiA FPS and Minimum Engagement distance (MED) restrictions apply.
Arm's Length MED = 350 FPS or less w/.20 gram BB's
20ft MED = 410 FPS or less w/.20 gram BB's
100ft MED = 550 FPS or less w//20 gram BB's
(Replica must be a bolt action rifle or permanently affixed to fire in SEMI auto only)

Midcap & Lowcap Magazines ONLY.
Box magazines will be allowed with a proper support weapon. (M249, M240, M60, MG36, etc.)
If you are unsure if your weapon falls under the support category, feel free to ask
The Mid/Lowcap rule will be STRICTLY enforced. If you are caught using a highcap magazine you will be ejected from the game without warning. If your particular replica only uses a highcap magazine, you need to notify the event staff before the event begins.

For team identifying purposes, we ask that you try to make yourself unmistakable as to what side you are on. Try to wear as much of your teams designated color (Helmet color, gear color if possible, etc, etc.) as you can to make things easier and more fun for both yourself and your teammates.

Medic Rules
There will be one medic assigned per fire team. You may switch your medic role with any ALIVE player at your discretion. Medics will carry a rope with 3 knots tied in it. The ‘Injured’ player must untie all three knots to be healed and get back in the fight. The medic must re-tie the knots to medic another downed teammate. There is one medic per player before they have to re-spawn. (IE: 1st Hit= Eligible for Medic Heal // 2nd Hit=Back to re-spawn)
