Anyone have experience with the different drum mags out there that fit a G36? I've got a G36K (MG36) and it just has to have a drum mag to complete the look. The one I got with it doesn't seem to have the spring tension to feed bb's worth a damn. So I'm either looking for input on fixing the mag, or personal experiences with different mags on the market.
My research leads to a few good ones, but there are definatly some really poor quality ones out there. Personal experiences anyone?

Back when I had my CA G36E that I converted into a full MG36 I had used two drum mags. And in fact the CA G36 drum mag didn't work very well for me. It misfed a lot for me plus it had a pressure pad and didn't have the auto-winding feature.
I bought a STAR G36 autowinding drum mag and it worked excellent for me.

I'm with Gunny, I also use the Star mag in my MG36. The downside was it couldn't keep up with my rate of fire, my solution was to swap out the 2 AA batteries for a 9 volt and haven't had a problem since. Took all of 2 minutes to swap out the AA battery pack for a 9 volt pack.
