Well, I figured it is tradition that I put up the thread.
Tired, sore, and I seriously wrecked my back more, but it was worth it.
Overall, a good game. Having more players definitely made the games more challenging, and there were both positive and negative aspects. I'm not going to point any out, as I was having too much fun to care.
My only issue was a personal one, the battery issues I kept having drove me nuts. I have learned now that I need to replace everything.
Got a bunch of kills, more so than ever before, especially the three in the village building. To the guy I safety killed, no harm done, good reaction speed.
It was great to see everyone again, tease with the type 89 and revolver, make some new comrades, and sling some plastic.
To the armory airsoft staff and everyone else, thanks for having a great game.

I had lots of fun today (very first game)! Everyone was super cool with me being new to the game and showed me the ropes with kindness (especially Master_Oki_Akai, thanks again for letting me borrow your knee pad!). I got hit a lot more than I hit with my own gun, but I guess I need experience to be as amazing as you lot are. I don't believe there were any problems with hit calling on the enemy team, and if there were, they were probably attributed to the cold. The only two issues I had were my battery dying near the end of Capture the Flag, and getting my foot busted up after sliding into that trench near the end of the amazing takeover of that tower at the very end. All in all I think I love this sport and I'll try to make it to Arctic Squall!

The Good Had a lot of fun!! I enjoyed playing multiple games in a row before returning to the car’s to reload. And the 5 minute reload time was great. We got a lot of games in! Thanks for taking suggestions from the players for the different games. It added a lot of flavor and fun to the rec game.
The Bad There where some folks that where not taking their hits. I know they did not feel them with all the body armor on and extra layers, but I did see the BB’s bounce off of their vests. I have found with all the layers, I have to listen for the hit as much as feeling them. Especially when wearing any type of armored vest. I got killed twice this event by friendly fire. : )
The Ugly Folks not following the FPS engagement limit! 351.0 - 409.9 fps - 20 foot engagement limit The limits are there for safety and to prevent serious damage. If you have a high FPS and a person runs in on you, you are screwed. It’s not that big of deal in the winter when we are layered, but it will be a problem in the summer. I do not want BB’s to puncture my skin which has happen before!
Feedback on the games 1. I think a respawn count is required when there in infinite respawns. It worked very well for the last game. 2. I like the rule of not firing from your respawn location until you are 10ft from it.
I think the capture the flag can work in the village, with some minor changes. Flag 1 is placed in the corner by road and woods. Respawn is the far corner van Flag 2 is the birch trees by sand bunker. Respawn is the blue barrel by higgen boats.
Teams start at the flags and have a 1 minute respawn time. This utilizes the full length of the field and people have to walk a distance to respawn.

I found the flag fortress Green had to be hilarious to watch as the fellow with the m60 mowed down all in his sights.
Odd thing today. I tried out my batteries today, and they work fine currently. Either the cold is super effective on them beyond possible remedy, or gremlins are afoot.

Thanks to everyone for an amazing day of sport combat. After 3 years of playing this was my first time romping in the snow, and it was suprisingly enjoyable. I had no weapon problems, everyone was great company, and an excellent field and facility always makes for a good time. Games were fun and problems were solved quickly and hilariously. Now let's see some photos!

Evidence that shows that Russian Camouflage is clearly superior, having avoided being photographed. ;D
