Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, Tol. It must have been a cheaply made rubber dummy instead of an accurate model made to function in some realistic ways (cockable charging handle, pullable trigger, that sort of thing).

Thats the normal style with a 2x magnifier lense screwed in. Also, the rubber guns are usually given to GUY RUNNING IN BACKGROUND #2. People who don't even get anywhere near a close up or anyone who is running in the background basically.

I'm working on putting together a Delta loadout similar to Psychosis's, and the biggest part of it that I had trouble with was the helmet. I finally found two replicas that seem pretty close to what was used. Both are dirt cheap, especially when you consider that Weapon Blender is offering free shipping right now.

Unfortunately the first one, which looks more accurate, is out of stock, but I'll look for it somewhere else and post the link if I find it.

Of course you can always go with the Protec Classic and just sand it down to get rid of the gloss finish, which is what I hear they did for the movie. But why not save money and some time?

As for boots OD jungle boots were used in large numbers in the Gulf War. I am working on my Gulf War USMC NCO loadout and I will post pictures of it sunday. Sorry if this is necroposting but i just wanted to point out that OD green jungles boots ARE accurate for a Gulf war impression.
