Overall - We had a great time last night. You know it must have been fun if you are covered in welts (I am), and only have good memories of the night.
Players - We enjoyed the friendly group of folks, who ranged from the first timer to the very experienced. This range in skill level could have been a problem but the MTAC crew did a nice job of balancing and re-balancing the teams as the night went on.
Facility - nice big facility that can accommodate a large number of players while not feeling cavernous. This was our first time at the new MTAC facility, and it is a lot to take in, so I really don't have any constructive feedback (I appreciate being asked though). Heck I even got lost upstairs during the juggernaut game last night, so I think it will take me a few evenings to appreciate all the nuances the place has to offer (like back staircases, that provided for a more expeditious transport of the VIP). Our first impression was that I liked the downstairs facility more, and upon hearing this, Jeff declared the upstairs to be better - go figure.
Games - we liked both the variety and pace of the games. There is something to be said for the simplicity of a "force-on-force" or "capture-the flag" game, and for the increased intensity/complexity of some of the scenario games - and MTAC offered them all.
Cheers!
