Hey guys I just recently purchased a bar 10 and it is slam fireing. Before you start to tell me to do an online search, I would like to let you know I already have. I have even read the article a few threads down. This is my situation. I have a few pare of sears and I have tested them all, but it still slam fires. I would also like to tell you thr gun is stock. I am thinking it is the piston. When I pull back the cylender it just stays until I put a lot of pressure then it slams forward. If you have any idea what is wrong please let me know.

Sounds like a solid answer. Other than that, my only other suggestion would be to buy a Tokyo Marui VSR-10 if you like that style of sniper rifle. It's not like those clones are built with premium parts.

What? A Bar-10 slam firing? NO WAI!
But anyway, if that link does not work for you, check your piston for chips, excessive wear, etc.

Gorem, I am sending you a spare piston along with the barrel. Sounds like the piston is chipped so hopefully the spare piston will solve your problem.

Ok thanks fuzzy. I was mssing with it today and I think the mod Casper suggested should work. Thor- I know what you mean. I uses to own an tm vsr, but I traded it off. The tm by far is better but I needed a cheap base gun.

Again, I have a stock VSR trigger if you want to upgrade that as well...
