Great day out in Charlotte! Had a great time putting faces to names and breaking in the new gear. Tan team did a great job out there also with reaching the downed pilots and getting them out of the woods.
Overall it was organized pretty good I thought. The scenario game was by far my favorite even though it took awhile to get the pilots out. As far as action goes the first game took a while to get started but after that there was a fair share of action everywhere.
No hitches at all except for Chaos's batteries burning and somewhat exploding before the start of the scenario game.
My hat is off the Canto and everyone else for putting on another good game and fun day!

Had a great time on Saturday. First time playing airsoft. Sixteen years since I played paintball.
Everyone was great and helpful....
Thanks John & Jaeger!!!
Doug (aka: Thompson), I'll try to look you up. We did ok for a couple of old men.

I too had a great time, as my first 'official' event.
The tan team did very well in that first scenario, as well as the scenario recovering all five of the pilots! However, the green team definitely controlled the village on those smaller engagements.
As always, thanks to the organizers and all who plan and make the events possible!
I'm glad I made it out there despite a 1.5 hour drive, and am glad to have met some great guys - too many to name here! I'm already looking forward the 8/28 event.
If I may, I have one suggestion: maybe reduce the amount of down-time between games - some of the breaks in-between games to reload seemed a little long. Then again, maybe it was just me, and my eager anticipation to get the next game going.

Had a great time at the event. Down time was a bit much, but the games were fast paced and exciting. To eliminate downtime, it might be good to advise players that they will be playing two games prior to returning to the staging area.
For example, if we were playing in the village area, the first game would have the green team starting in the woods, and the second game starting at the Higgins boats. Once that sort of "seize" the village scenario was played out, the players could head back to the staging area to get ammo, water, etc and prepare for the next pair of games.
I'd also like to see a bit more of the ol' "line 'em up and count 1,2,1,2" system to pick teams. That would randomize the teams a bit and players could be given bright red or yellow armbands to designate their allegiance. I know that this sort of thing irks people, but the whole point of a rec. game is to play informally and meet new people.

I agree with the last two posts. Overall a great afternoon on a very nice field, but less down time between games would be appreciated. I'm looking forward to coming out again!

I had a great time, putting faces to names is always nice. The downtime was kind of needed and sometimes was a tad to long, I guess it is something we will cut down on next game. Sorry for the extended downtime when my battery exploded. Foxhound: Your a cool dude.

Great game. Just had one problem which was the green team never got to defend the place opposite of the village. No buggy though. I probably should have spoken up anyway.
