The Good Hellfish did an excellent job running the event and ref-ing. Good scenario's and a lot of shoot em up time. Job well done. Everyone was friendly and it seemed everyone had a good time The Bad The heat was a killer Doing a blind fire and not meaning to. Just got into the moment of trying to defend the flag. Sorry about that. Thanks for calling me on it Suggestions- take them or leave them, just trying to be helpful 1. It was some times confusion to see who was on what team. In the past, I have used colored arm bands to help tell folks who is on what team. We used colored duck tape to make the arm bands. I believe this might have lead to some of the friendly fires incidents that occurred at the event. 2. At the end of the double flag capture the flag there was some concern about shooting folks who are coming out of the respawn point. I have run into the problem with folks respawning to close to the flag like was happening in the last game. What I have done is to set the respawn points in the middle far sides of the field. One team on the far right, the other on the far left. They do not respawn close to the flag and make's it much cleaner. Overall, I had a great time and ready to rest! BTW - I was the guy with the M60 with the black tee shirt and camo pants.

Thank you for coming out, and we appreciate your comments. I've never been a fan of arm bands. For one, they're just a pain both from a player and organizer stand point. But they also only work if you can see the guy's arm. If you can't, which happens a lot, it doesn't really do anything. I wish people would identify their targets before shooting. I had a guy take about 15 shots at me while I was standing still in an open field holding no gun with a bright red hat on. He just kept lobbing them at me. When I finally realized he was shooting at me, I pointed to my hat and he realized his mistake and found another target. But if he had thought about who he was shooting at instead of just finding a body that looked easy to hit (I was about 20 feet outside of his lobbing range) he wouldn't have had a problem to begin with. I'm going to lock this thread, because there's already another discussion about this topic here: miairsoft.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=eventaar&action=display&thread=33746Please reference any future posts to that thread.
