A very good game, it was hot as hell and the bugs bad but it was still a great day.
Got to see many faces I've played with before, met some cool new guys, I definitely have to make it to Bangor more often.
COG: Great job, you did a great job as hosts, hopefully we'll see some more from you.

I had a really great time for the most part. Always fun hanging out with you cool MF'ers.
Props to Marshy and COG for a pretty successful first event. I thought you guys did great. Dan as the president was just absolutely F'ing hardcore. Probably my favorite part of the day.
Only bad things from today:
1) The first half had pretty poor communication from the mods across all channels. This however, for the most part, was quickly resolved in the second half.
2) The amount of whining, and unsportsmanlike conduct at the end of the game was rather ridiculous. Arguments about "pipe bombs" and just overall complaining about getting shot, losing, etc.
Again though, for the most part this was a pretty sick game, and I know most of us Tan guys had a lot of fun!
Special thanks to Back Talon for the additional squad members, and great communications. Good job guys!

This was the first event in a very long time where myself and several other Armory staff members actually got to play... It was long overdue. I would like to thank Marshy and his compatriots who aided in all the behind the scenes work. I believe the weather and the bugs played a huge part in the few disagreements I saw. But, one cannot please everyone. I saw/heard practically zero reports about players not calling their hits or goggles. Amazing... Echelon, My nose loves you.

This was the first large event at Bangor that I have actually played entirely. Yeah, I've picked up a gun when it starts getting dark or between camera batteries, but that was nothing. So for my first full-event experience at Bangor, I was thoroughly impressed. The heat was ridiculous, but Everybody was still out there with all their gear. At the end of the day, when we were all exhausted, there was still the best fight of the entire day. A high-casualty stalemate for the southern ridge. It was great to finally get out and play with you all. Piper, Casper, Triggs, and everyone else, it was a frackin blast. I now know why that field just murders all of the players by the end of the day. And Marshy, your birthday lapdance last year was better. But Getting to play for once was quite a good present ^_^

The game was incredible. This was my first mainstream airsoft event and I was very impressed with everything. The field, the players conduct, the storyline, the props, the roleplayers, etc etc. I couldn't have asked for a better first game.

I had an incredible time even though I went for a swim early in the day. Thanks Marshy!

I had a great time moderating for the day, It was a little hot, but people got through it. Both teams were putting up a good fight, and the score was really close when the game was called for lunch, green was in the lead by 20. After lunch green had twice as many members, and they were starting to complete a few objectives, and then tan team just started kicking ass, and took the lead.
I would like to thank all of you who came out to OP Gridlock, I hope you guys had a good time and enjoyed your weekend.
I would also like to thank Wes, Evan and Indig Dan, because There is no way I could have done this without you.

Marshy- You did well. Even with the blistering heat (thanks to the Crew guys for the sunblock) and the biting bugs (check your deet% folks) I had fun being a player again and finally getting to play full-on with team FLAK. Seemed like the objectives were kept pretty simple out in the field, making everyone's lives easier and better able to focus. A plus in those weather conditions where exhaustion and irritation only go up as the day progresses. Real good radio communication out there, though the VOX chatter really seemed excessive, beyond the normal troubleshooting at game start. I liked what I saw happening with the 3-squad system, compared to the single CO+XO system I've seen employed. Rather than one person trying to divvy up and organize multiple groups and coordinate them alone, the groups were already established and worked within themselves while the squad leaders divided and negotiated priorities. Everything else seemed to fill out in its own natural order. Best as I could tell, the game and the play ran as smooth as we could want, the only problems seemed to be typical or due to the weather conditions. The only notable hiccup I saw was at the very last 5 minutes of the game with the confusion over the use and coincidental placement of some explosive props. But the mods were right there, got it handled in no time, and the Tan team slogged away through the muck with their victory! As a medic I really didn't get many heals this time, the second half I didn't pick up anyone! The system Marshy wrote struck me as odd but appropriate for a milsim style game, but we didn't actually see that system in play, so it has given me some food for thought.

Props to you Marshy! The game was organized great, and seemed to progress very smoothly, though I played half and modded half . The heat was sweltering, and the bugs relentless, but that's not something in control of the mods anyway (if only!). This was actually my first time modding as well, and the whole time I never heard any vocal disputes about calling hits or other major point (with exception to those bombs at the very end), even when I was playing. I was impressed not only with the game, but with all the players' amount of respect that day for the game as well. It was also great seeing some familiar faces! Great game everyone, hope to do it again soon!

Short of the fact that my thighs hurt so bad still that I can barely walk due to a lack of exercise on my part, the game was really fun. I have to concur about the last 30 min or so with the confusion of the pipe bombs and fighting. That will happen periodically, but ended up being a good game. Marshy and mods, great job. The communication was weird sometimes, but I think that was to be expected at bangor most of the time. I think that it was a very well run game. The heat was unbearable, and after being healed in the airfield and running back up the southern ridge I passed out literally. That was no fun, but I soon recovered. I counted that I drank about 8 liters of water all day, and it still wasn't enough. Hopefully I can regain my ability to walk/run in the near future. haha. Working at best buy these last few days has been less than desirable.
