After Chapter II of the Revolution The North American Military (N.A.M.) will have to redeem themselves at this one!!!
July 21, 2010:
THE BODIES of 12 people have been found in a cave near the popular tourist resort Cancun in Mexico. Some of the bodies had the letter ‘z’ carved into their chests, suggesting that the Los Zetas cartel were responsible for the killings.
Los Zetas, are one of several powerful drug cartels currently involved within the Federation in Mexico. The ‘Zetas’ were previously the paramilitary wing of the Gulf Cartel. Los Zetas are reported to be the Federations “Hit Men” now.
Since taking office in 2006, former Mexican President Felipe Calderon had engaged in a massive crackdown against the drug cartels. The violence has claimed the lives of over 23,000 people since 2006.
The cartels are organized and are often better equipped than the police and army. They have been known to use high caliber automatic weapons capable of piercing armored vehicles. In addition, submarines have been used to transport drugs into the former USA.
July 30, 2010:
Autopsy reports the remains of two of the deceased are North American Union Military (N.A.M.) personnel. According to these reports the two soldiers (within their platoon) were deployed on June 10, 2010 on a covert mission to apprehend the alleged leader of a regional branch of the Los Zetas drug cartel.
Hector Raul Luna Luna, known by the alias "El Tori" was arrested during a "precision operation" by the personnel of the Seventh Military Zone in Monterrey, in northern Mexico. However, Jonathon Crowell and Casey Wilson never returned. These soldiers were high on priority when the news of the “Las Zeta’s Matanza” was reported.
August 4, 2010:
A massive gun battle between rival drug and migrant-trafficking gangs near the former U.S. border left 21 people dead on Thursday, prosecutors said. The clash occurred in a sparsely populated area about 12 miles from the Arizona border — a prime corridor for immigrant and drug smuggling.
Sonora's Attorney General's Office said in a statement that nine people were captured by police at the scene of the shooting, six of whom had been wounded in the confrontation. Authorities at the scene found seven rifles. Officials did not say why the gunfight had broken out, but powerful and well-armed Mexican gangs often fight for control of smuggling routes into the United States.
In a city on another part of the former border, gunmen killed an assistant attorney general for Chihuahua State and one of her bodyguards. After being chased by armed assailants through the darkened streets of Ciudad Juarez, the vehicle carrying Sandra Salas Garcia and two bodyguards was riddled with bullets Wednesday night. Arturo Sandoval, a spokesman for the Attorney General's Office, said the second bodyguard was seriously wounded.
Salas was responsible for evaluating the work of prosecutors and special investigations units in Chihuahua. Drug violence has killed more than 4,300 people in recent years in Ciudad Juarez, which borders El Paso, Texas.
August 12, 2010:
Planning raids on various cities throughout the former Mexican border NAM has there elite forces converging into these areas.
August 15, 2010:
Federation suffers a major hit when Mexico extradited its captured leader, Osiel Cardenas, to the former United States.
August 20, 2010:
Authorities arrested five Gulf members just south of the Texas border in Reynosa. Among those taken into custody was Juan Oscar Garza, purportedly an important Federation leader in the city.
August 26, 2010:
Less than a week later, authorities in Nuevo Laredo captured Gulf Cartel Division leader Eleazar Medina Rojas. The Attorney General's office described Medina as "a major killer.”
August 28, 2010:
With the recent arrests of key members the Federation is in shambles. The North American Military think that they have things under control…
