Alright, this is pretty much just too stupid to make up. I was up at WMiA's field in Fruitport, and it was 6 vs 7 defend-the-base. I was on the team of 6, and we were attacking. One of the guys on my team, Noodles, picked up this sheet of what looked cardboard (not exactly sure what it was, but it was a helluva lot stronger than cardboard). Me, Illusion, Chase, and Noodles started joking about using it as a shield. At some point, the jokes switched to being legitimate musings on using it. Chase and Noodles each grabbed a side, with only their fingers exposed. Both Illusion and I provided cover fire from behind our shield, as Chase and Noodles advanced us closer to the bunker 3 steps at a time. With medic rules, if one person got hit, one would "heal" and the remaining 2 would provide cover fire. Needless to say, it was pretty ineffective; they would wait and be ready to fire the second you stuck your head out. Either way, it made for an interesting game, as well as an interesting story.

I would say wait until your account is six months old before you post in the tales of valor. May the mods have pity on your soul.

rules are now in place for all stories posted in the "Tales of Valor" forum. Failure to adhere to these rules is grounds for a 7-day ban. You stand forewarned. Rules are as follows: 1) Your account on MIA must be at least 6 months old to post a story in Tales of Valor. See you in 7, target. Slinky, in the future, don't respond to such posts, just use the "Report to Moderator" button. 2 - Be polite to other members and leave thread moderation to the moderators.
