Would the motarola talkabout be suitible for a milsim game with a headset? Would I be able to get the right frequency to talk to others with different types of radios?

Ghost, yes a Motarola will be just fine. As long as your radio is on the same channel as anyone else you want to talk to, it will work.

Time for another post referring people to my radio information page. I just ordered some Motorolas myself. I remain loyal to my Icom, but sometimes I need to use the FRS frequencies, so having the industry standard in 22 channel radios seemed like a reasonable investment. Those shells that devildog posted are great if you're doing an impression of a particular unit, but they're not actually required for anything. |
