It was my first time playing at the field today, and I had a great time. I met a lot of new people and the weather was beautiful. And to top it off, I didn't have any instances where people weren't calling their hits.
We did get started a little late, mainly due to people not showing up on time. It wasn't a big deal though, because I was more than ready for lunch when the whistle was blown.
I'll definitely do my best to make it out to the next ROSA game, I had a blast today.

We also had a great time out there. First time playing on the field and I did not experience any hit calling problems as well. It was too bad we had equipment problems and had to leave during lunch.
Although, when we were able to play I had a blast flanking through the forest taking out anyone on the hill of the yellow base.
We had loads of fun, can't wait for the next one!

Here are some of the photos I took during the day. I was too involved with the game all day I forgot to pull out the camera most of the time. Full-res, not the lower MIA cap s253.photobucket.com/albums/hh72/kotsteph/ROSA%205-29-10/?start=allWe had planned a much more complex game that was more of an OP, but dumped most of it at the last second because we had so many new players. We learned a lot and hope to make the next event even better. Edit: I found a MLD patch on the ground before I left. If you've lost it PM me and let me know what color scheme it was.

Thanks for a great event. The field was huge, with a number of bases and lots of natural cover.
The game was well-run, with multiple objectives that made things interesting.
Everyone we met was friendly, helpful, and experienced. But for some equipment issues, we would have stayed for the entire event.
We look forward to the next one.
