I just picked up a Kuan Ju Couger GBB and so far am loving it (aside from the fact that I haven't had the time to locate and adjust the hop up, it's my first non-springer)
My only probs so far (I think) is that I'm going to need a new spring as it doesn't always return completely after I rack the slide. And the manual didn't say what kind of gas to use, I e-mailed the place I got it and they said that Green Gas would work, but they didn't say what kinds of gas it would take.
Any thoughts on types of gas that would work without messing up the gun? Can anyone tell me where to find replacement springs, and if there is a metal slide and barrel available for the Couger?
<begin short rant> I got a good deal I think, though I would be interested in any thoughts others might have. Like I said, I'm knew, and considering that the last new gun I dealt with before this was a Super 9 sniper rifle I'm not sure if this was as good a deal as I thought. I got the gun, 2 extra clips, a thigh holster, and bag of 1000 .20 bb's for 69.99 (and I ordered some other stuff so no shipping) There isn't much in my area, one place that has springers, one with bb's and mini-electrics, and one that has a couple of gbb's that are super expensive. So I endedup going with one of the collectorsfield sites to get the gun. <end short rant>
Sorry for the length of the post, it's been a long day,

KJW's are designed for green gas. 134a won't be powerful enough for it.

I've been using Green Gas, but I thought there were two different versions, and I've heard about something called Red Gas and I wasn't sure if Green Gas was what the gun used period, or if it was just one of the gases that it could use.

Minky, the link you posted doesn't go to the article but a few min of digging and I found it, I'll have to print it out and read through it.
Anyone know anything about replacement springs or metal slides for a Couger?
