Okay, so I realized something today. I know jack and shit about sniper rifles. I bought an APS-2 offa mosin like 2 years ago and it's been collecting dust. So I decided to wipe it off and get it running. I bought it without the cylinder, and the cylinder set that mosin linked me is now discontinued. I've looked around for other kits, But I havent really been able to find anything. Now, problem 1 is I don't know exactly what comes in this kit. As far as I've seen, it's Cylinder, Cylinder Head, Spring, Spring guide, Piston, Piston Head. Am I right/wrong? Problem 2 is I can't pick out exact parts until I know what all comes in the kit so I know what I'm missing. If you all need pictures of what I've got, lemme know - I don't even know if I'm explaining this right. ;D I'll prolly update this thread as we progress in my noobish upgrading, at least now we'll have something going on in the spring section! Thanks in advance. Edit: Ooo Ooo I found this thread miairsoft.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=spring&action=display&thread=24942 is it still relevant?

www.x-fire.org/e.index.htm IMO To be more specific I would say.. www.x-fire.org/aps2/e.aps2_cylinderset_vc.htmlIf you want something a little cheaper I believe TJ at Youngs in GR still have a Classic army advanced 300% APS2 kit in stock. I picked up a M24 kit off him a few weeks ago. I think he is asking $130 for it and it includes the spring. If you don't mind spending a little more the PDI kit is amazing quility. edit: BTW congrats on the APS, thats my old APS and before me it belonged to Frostee of GK for years with many many kills. That APS used to be quite popular around Michigan.

It'll work, it just needs an M24 bolt handle instead of an APS handle. I think Classic Army, and I know PDI makes a reinforced handle.

Here is the complete Classic Army cylinder kit, always an option, but the cylinder block at the rear rips through the metal with time. This use to be true but has since been fixed. The older advanced kits had roll pins holding on the handle boss or "back cylinder block". Classic Army now used steel dowels to pin the handle boss in place. I know my old cylinder kit had the handle boss get loose after a season so before buying the one I have now I made sure to look at it in stock at Youngs in GR. It indeed is different than the old ones.

Then that CA kit sounds exactly what your looking for Tali. You would absolutely spend more than fifty dollars on shipping sourcing good parts individually.

I had the CA Kit and it was OK but my spring dropped from 550 to around 480 after about 1 year of play/plinking.
