Story
July 8th, 2010. US special forces move into the lower regions of Kandahar near the Pakistan boarder in an attempt to secure head Taliban leader Al-Adid-Zummar, after receiving intel on his where abouts within the region.
The city is of significant strategic importance in the region due to the major airfield built in the early 1970s with development funding from the United States,but it was made inaccessible for the most part by land mines as well as the partial damage caused in the conflict between the Soviets and the Mujahideen.
Five UN Peace keepers have been shot dead in the southern city of Kandahar. The soldiers were traveling to their airbase when two members of the Taliban opened fire from a balcony down on to their Humvee.
After some time of surveillance, it is now know that a large group of Taliban fighters have been gathering in/around the village, conducting raids and bombings on other near by villages & cities.
July 9th, 2010. After a insertion by night US forces were hit by several hit and run ambushes. The special forces unit was able to secure and monitor most parts of the village, while sustaining minimal injuries. Unknown to the US troops; Taliban forces have been massing large amounts of chemical weapons/arms while slowly moving them across the boarder into Pakistan to avoid US detection.
In an attempt to defend the weapons of mass destruction, a harder veteran group of Taliban fighters emerged that was training new members within the area, holding back the US forces from the mountainous ridges. These fighters are thought to be of the Tehrik-i-Taliban of Pakistan, whom have been following Al-Adid-Zummar for some time.
Team Information
Max of 6 squads (60 people total) allowed. Spots on the roster will be first come, first serve.
For any exceptions we make for age, parents/guardians must complete and sign a printed out waiver, also waivers will be available on site.
Forces In Play/Uniforms
US Special Forces Team (Tan) - DCU, ACU, Multi Cam (Strict, please look the part).
Taliban Forces (Green) - Woodland BDU, khaki, or black pants ONLY, Civilian style shirt, or any other proper Arabic clothing (Please look the part).
*Note: Any deviation from the listed uniforms will not be allowed to play, this is a MILSIM game, please for the love of god do not show up in hunting camouflage or jeans.
Each team will be allotted 30 spots, these 30 players will break down into 3 squads, Squads will be made up of the following:
- Squad Leader (Mandatory).
- Limit one DM (optional)
- Limit one SAW gunner (optional)
- Medic (Mandatory).
- The rest are Rifleman.
Designated Marksman, and SAW Gunner, are optional, and if all are taken, then you can't have more then one per squad, although you may substitute one or the other for something else (for example, you want two SAW's but no DM, thus you can substitute the DM spot for another SAW gunner). Squad Leader is mandatory as is the medic (you cannot have multiples of these).
Squad Breakdown
- Squad leaders in all regards are to follow the rifleman kits listed below. It is highly recommended that you as the squad leader have a radio and a watch, as to make sure your squad can complete its objectives.
- Riflemen can use any weapon of their choice (excluding DMR's and SAW's), and can only use low/mid cap magazines.
- DM's must use DMRS, including but not limited to SVD's, SPR's, SR25's, Bolt actions...ect.
- SAW gunners must have an accurate representation of a SAW weapon, including but not limited to, M249's, M240's, m60's, RPK's, RPD's, MK46/48, L86A, MG36, ect... No M4/AK/MP5 with a drum and/or box magazine.
- Each squad will be assigned a specials. Specialist will be responsible for carrying the squads demo charges/EIDs and will need to have a lighter.
FPS Regulations and Ammunition Limitations:
Standard Rifles and Submachine Guns
- 410 FPS limit
- Players are limited to mid-caps or low-caps ONLY.
SAW's and Support Weapons
- 410 FPS limit
- One full box magazine per support gunner, as many mid/low caps as one wants.
DM Rifles (semi auto only)
- 550 FPS limit
- Players are limited to mid-caps or low-caps ONLY.
NO loose bb's are to be carried on ones person, ammo can be stored at spawns and filled at your own discretion.
1.0 - 350.9 fps - Arms length engagement limit
351.0 - 409.9 fps - 20 foot engagement limit
420.0 - 550.9 fps – 50 foot engagement limit, permanent* Semi-auto replicas only.
551.0+ fps - Prohibited or allowed with permission of event organizer only
*Permanent semi-auto refers to replicas that do not have full-auto fire capability, no matter how the selector switch or other user input device is manipulated.
FULL seal goggles are mandatory.
Respawns
When player is shot, they will announce they are hit, put on a red kill rag (mandatory), and immediately sit or lay down. You will have a 2 minute bleed out time.
Respawn: A team member that was hit must remain in respawn for 15 minutes. The other team members can try to complete objectives on their own if they wish (as long as there is more then one member alive). If a squad is reduced to one player, then that player must "die" so that the entire squad will respawn together.
NO LONE MAN ARMY SHIT! You must stay with your squad.
Medic Rules
- Two minute bleed out time.
When/and if a medic reaches a hit player, the medic must have physical contact with the hit player for two minutes, during this time the medic and other squad mates may move the hit player but he/she cannot move on his/her own.
When the two minutes are up, the medic will open up one of the envelopes he/she has and this will determine the hit players fate.
Cards will be as follow (Amounts will be random):
- Alive, play as normal.
- Dead, go to respawn.
- Injured, four minute "heal" time (physical contact by medic and another squad member).
- Injured, two minute "heal" time (physical contact by medic)
If an Injured card is pulled, then they must put a banned of white masking tap around that players arm to signify they have been healed once (only one "heal" per respawn).
Suggested Items
- Watch (mandatory for at least one member per squad).
- Radio (mandatory for at least one member per squad, but everyone should have one!)
- Flashlight.
- Hydration Packs.
- Bottled Water.
- Compass.
- Red Kill Rag (Mandatory for everyone).
- Bug Spray.
- Backpack (Preferably a small one).
Please show up/play in an authentic loadout, this is a MILSIM game and should be treated as a reenactment, look the part and play the part, we will be having role players/civilians throughout the village and some may decide to blow you up if you don't conduct a proper search or shoot at them without knowing they are hostile.
