Our furry friends down south are at it again with yet another event...
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Listen up folks.
As you probably know already, there is a big game coming this June 15th at Fran's Bar Park, Pataskala, Ohio. As the event name says it, it will be a "combat mission" event and many teams will be created to be able to achieve different mission, going from VIP to convoy. Each teams, would be 10 players or so. That's why I really need to know something as quick as possible;
DO YOU HAVE A TEAM TO REGISTERED??
If so, please e-mail me at francois.crepeau@airsofttoys.com and I will register your team. Right now, we have only 3 teams registered as Strikers, The Pros and OVMB. All other players are in stand by to be placed randomly on a team.
So it's now up to you, either you give me a team or you will become the "outlaws", grouped by 10 as well...or even more...depending on the missions.
Looking forward to get news from you folks.

Have you ever wanted to kick Stormblade's butts, The Pros head or even slap the 49th squad? Here is your chance to compete against the regular teams of the Ohio:
Combat missions 2002
This event will be at Fran's bar park (Pataskala,Oh), see "place to play" menu for more details about the field. Since this is the first time ever that we will attempt something like this, here are few things that need to be taken correctly: 6-8 groups will be formed for this event. The main idea here is being able to use the standard team (Pros, 49th, 86th, Storm, Strikers, etc) as a group. For example, if we are 60 attending, that would mean 6 teams of 10. If a team can be formed from a whole standard team (example: the Pros), so be it. The idea behind this is being able to compete teams versus teams. That way, you practice your tactics and you also have the chance to see how good your group work together.
WARNING. This event is to promote friendship and fun, in no way we want to promote competition between group which would lead to cheat or bend the rules. The goal is not to win but mostly to learn from this special event and have lot of fun.AO rules are fully applied for this event.
If you are not part of a regular team, doesn't matter, we will regroup everybody at the game anyway. For example, Strikers are 7 players so we would need 3 more players to make 10 (assuming we would be 60).If you want to create your own group, just e-mail me with who you would like to be with prior to the game, since I'll try to split the teams before the game again.
so now, here is the main idea behind this:
Every team will have to achieve different mission against different teams. No matter if they win or loose, they will have to replay the scenario but switch side with the other team. So while 2 group will compete on the CQB field, other 2 will play in the wood and if we can reserve the whole field, another 2 teams will play in the speedball. Saying this mean that the more we will be, the more interesting it will be as well. The order for missions doesn't matter. For example, Team A might play against team B in the first mission but just replay the same mission against them later during the day. So while 6 teams are playing, the other teams will be able to rest, eat and reload...so no more down times between games. We might even be able to have referees and more camerans in the field while waiting your next mission.
Starting time: 10am
Finishing time: as late as possible
Game duration: 30min maximum.
Amount of players needed: over 60. Otherwise, we might not be able to reserve the whole Fran's bar (still need to confirm).
Rentals will be available via www.airsofttoys.com.
That's it for now....I'll give more details within the next coming weeks. Thanks and hoping to see you all there.
