I'm starting a thread here, so we can get off the events thread.
I did not honestly notice any cheating last wednesday. I bitch an awful lot, but I can't think of any blatant cheating that I saw that night. Personally, despite a record of 1-4-1, I think our whole team had a good time overall, and even our losses were worth it for the benny hill grabass endings.
Personal favorites include Puck's spinning dance move that put the bomb from the barrel to our side of the line in the space of 2 seconds and was timed perfectly for the end of the game, and my placing the bomb over the picket fence and being so thrilled that we kept the enemy away from it... to realize that the picket fence is not in fact the midfield line, and I had basically put the bomb in a bunker that was easy to defend and then told our team to leave it alone.
Some of the games were frustrating, but I don't BLAME anyone for that. Even the last game against the A team was rough on me, because I was not even trying to move effectively. I just ran up to the center, got shot a bunch in the side as I ran past somebody on the other team, and repeated ad dolorum.
I never saw pellets hit anyone that night, I just trust my red dot. If someone doesn't call it, I shout an explitive and shoot again.
My biggest problem that night was confusion at the end of the match. I keep thinking I hear people call time or game, and it turns out it's something else, like the ten second count. That's why some of you found me standing there with my thumb in my ass near the end.
All in all, I had fun, and I say good game to you all.
