Sorry Fox, but we're going to stick to our 16+ rule. The Hellfish would just prefer a more adult oriented atmosphere at the CQB games that we run. Part of it is a trust issue (the only people we let in who were minors ended up fucking up big time), and part of it is a game experience issue. We'd make it 18+, but we feel like we might not be able to fill up the roster (which is obviously a problem right now, but probably related to price, which is something that we're talking to Hunter about right now).

Well that doesn't seem very fair, if you are concerned with filling up the roster then why not let us in? It is only 2 of us 15 year olds that wanna go out and play some airsoft, what could we do that would cause others to have a bad time, not call shots? I have enough respect for the game to not even think of doing that. Yes, we may not have any experience in CQB but everyone has to have a first time. All I ask is that you reconsider, plus you'll be getting 30 bucks more. Thanks.
Respectfully, Fox

We're not concerned with filling up the roster. We lowered our age limit from 18 to 16 to help with that. We're not going to drop it any further than that. And by "game experience," I didn't mean the amount of experience that players have before the game. I meant the quality of the experience of playing at our game. Most adults are interested in playing with adults, especially in the higher stress realm of CQB. So that's who we're catering to.
The fact that you're still arguing this point after we've said no tells me that you're not mature enough to attend the event.

Dropped you a PM, Knief. Also, like Fox said, the link says file not found.

I'll ask Hunter about the link. They're what we used last year, so his web hosting may have changed.

Alright guys this is our first game here for the CQB season. Those who have gone before know to expect some good games.
Also just in case some of you missed it, we were able to get the price dropped to $15. Hope to see you guys there.

Actually, I wasn't even arguing, I was trying to be very respectful in the way I approached you on the subject and simply asking for more detail as to the reasoning behind the set age limit. I'm fine with your decision, and frankly I'd rather not play with someone who is so touchy about asking questions. Now I'm not trying to start a flame war but could you read the post more carefully next time? You seem to automatically think I am a rude, disrespectful, immature child and I happen to be none of the above. Thanks for your time. Have fun guys.

Foxtrot- this kind of discussion would be best suited for PM's. As such, I have sent you a PM.

Can I ask where the extra money is going to? Sorry I'd just like to know before I sign up because it is more expensive than the regular events there.

We have a bigger staging area that runs and uses our tenants public areas. We need to instantly clean up after these games. Thats where the extra money is needed. Unlike a Friday game where we stage downstairs.

Oh well thanks for letting us use the space Hunter. I want to come but I don't know if I can until I talk to my friends and dad to see if they can too.
