Go for it. That's a great price. The "silencer" is crap though, one of those one size fits all AA ones.

I have the Compact and it's best for a show piece, it doesnt have hop up.

Would it be a good skirmish sidearm? Are they both the same, if not, which one is best?

the tactical is better, to make it real good get a metal slide and a high flow gas valve.

The KJW Tactical does have hop-up. I'm darn sure. The normal P8 doesn't, but can be custom made to fit(talk to Mike-wts about that). I think they are %80 reliable. They jam sometimes . They are still a good gun. I have one and LOVE it!

Andy make sure you weren’t confusing my post about the Compact not having hop up. If you're just stating a fact that's fine, but if you're trying to correct me, you're wrong. The emphasis you put on “DOES” made me think you were trying to correct me. So to clear it up: Compact= No hop up Tactical= Hop up.

KJW USP COMPACT = NO HOPUP KJW USP FULL SIZE= MUCHO HOPUP (too much on most guns, needs trim, and screw installed to be adjustable) KJW TACTICAL (adjustable hopup, requires some trimming to curb extreme hopup effect) TANAKA USP P8= NO HOPUP WHATSOEVER JACK RABBIT=HOP UP, standard on all models
