REC: Farmington CQB Fund raiser (WWP) 01/08/2010

This CQB event is dedicated to the January 9th fund raiser at the Farmington American Legion Post, 346, located at 31775 Grand River, Farmington, Michigan, 48336, to benefit the Wounded Warrior project. (For information on this fund raising event please contact: Shaun Law, 248-987-4466)

CQB in Farmington is going to give $7.00 donation per person that shows up. Due to this event there will be a strict roster and check in. Please don't sign up then not show.

For this event only the field fee is $15.00, but remember $7.00 out of it will go to the (W.W.P.)

Background information on the winery:

Farmington CQB is a 194,000 sg. ft. building that is heated in the winter. (We use about 12,000 Sq. Ft. total in the fields.)
This building used to be an old power house for the city of Farmington and brought the first electricity to the area. After being a winery for some time we currently use the building for office space. Now with airsoft being a great part of it we have built two fields on two different levels of the building. I WILL GET THERE EARLY AND HAVE THE DOORS OPEN BY 5PM. THIS WILL ALLOW PEOPLE TO FILL OUT WAIVERS EARLY AND HAVE GAMES ROLLING BY 6PM.

Cost: $15.00
FPS: MIA standards, 350 fps and under.
Eye Protection: Full seal goggles are required. NO GOGGLES, NO SHOOTING, NO EXCEPTIONS. Mesh goggles are not allowed.

Games will start a little after 6:00 PM.

No uniform requirements, pick a side. All types of camo welcomed.(We will do Camo vs. Civi/black) We may mix teams up depending on skill to make things more fair.

No player cap.
BOTH FIELDS WILL BE OPEN IF ENOUGH PEOPLE


Rules


- Must be 14 and over to attend.
- No turning lights on and off.
- Full face protection is highly recommended but not required.
- All guns will be chronographed with .20 bb's FPS limit is strictly restricted to 350FPS.
- Players are recommended to arrive with one unloaded magazine.
- Magazines must be out in the safe zone.
- All guns can not be exposed while outside the building. They must be in either a box or a rifle case/bag. No exceptions!

Quick suggestion. Edit it to say "WWP" as this game is sponsoring the wounded warrior project and not the world wildlife foundation.

I'm up for it, but I need to check my work schedule first. Also do know how much warmer it will be in the winery compared to outside? I really want to use my gbbr for CQB.

- I will also be wearing ACU.

I will most likely show up with +2 or +3, Ill let you know when I know. Bison: the heat is the same or higher then your house, most of the time it is too hot up stairs really run around (hunter do you think we could drop the heat to 60 or 65 degrees this time, the heat was painful last time)

Sounds like fun, hunter. Can't promise anything at the moment, but could I see a look at the roster? And would it be possible to stay until say 10 or 11? And would you have any rentals up for grabs, because my AEG shoots over 350... Right now the only thing I could bring is my utg m3.

Those m3s if it is a tri shot are actually very good there. I think you will be fine with it. It is up to you I guess.

Yes, it is a tri-shot most likley thats what I will have to use if I go.

I was wondering if there is some sort of waver for the people under 16 or 18 years old and my friends parents are droping me off. I am 14 and there is usually a waver for the games. It sounds like fun and I am checking with my team to see if some or all of us are going. I will put another post if we are going.

(It's probably my spelling, grammar, and punctuation that makes me confused. I SHOULD say; "Wait, so if I wanted to go, should I call, reserve, or just walk in. I'm very confused as to how to sign up for this event, which is most likely due to me not reading the entire post about the game. I will re-read that post, and I'm sure that most, if not all, of my questions will be answered.)
