I was really looking forward to another out-of-state OP but I got a major disapointment. Sadly this was the worst game I have ever been to. Our CO didn't know what he was doing and was making stupid calls like "We need to out smart them so give them the city and all the bulidings" WTF? The whole team of 30 something players were made to stay on the same channel so comunication was near immpossible.
The guy running the event would change rules in the middle of the game, like when I killed people and found the missing detonater we need to accomplish our biggestmission. We then held the tan off the village for a long time waitng for the bomb squad to bring in the rocket to the 3rd story. We got it set and the guy comes up and says he FORGOT to tell everyone in briefing or any other time that only bomb squad could recover the detonater, so he took it back and re-hide it.
Also there was only one ref and I saw him a lot chilling at the tables with the event cordinator. THe ref was also telling players all kinds of stuff that was differnet then before and changing rules, medic, spawns, everything.
Then we find out that the tan were just spawning when they touched the back while green were made to wait 5 in the spawn.
ANd to the guy I shot in the 2nd story of the city and I ducked back and watched you through the side window look around and duck down yelling "THAT WAS CLOSE." Yeah ME and my teamate just wanted to start laughing at how retarted that was.
In all paying $25 and gas, plus the long drive was not even near worth it. I hope other players had a better time then I did and enjoyed themselves.

Glad I was CO of the Tan Team we where told 3 min bleed out and then walk back to our LZ. To start them game I agree with you during the briefing there was for sure some stuff that wasnt said to eithere team like medic rules when the green thought every one was a medic and we where getting our ass handed to us out of the LZ. I had NOTHING TO DO with the event planing on this I just posted it . I was on the field playing.

Yeah, the ref told some of the green that so they started doing it. I told them to cut it out because we wouldn't have medics if everyone could heal each other. The ref had no idea what was going on all day.
Also the nerf thing was upseting. I understand them being used as grenades when shot out of a .203 launcher but being grendaes with a 10 foot kill radius when thrown was gay. They got to be used over and over again. Getting killed by those all day was anoyying.

We were also not told about a Mayor or Sheriff, one of which just became hostile at random and spawned where ever he wanted. I had a huge problem with individuals in ACU not calling their hits from both grenades and bb's, and an issue where someone was walking off the field with a kill rag, spoted us and proceeded to bang kill us. Oh yes, all of the points Reaper brought up about event coordination were major issues. Over all, poor sportsmenship, event coordination, and our team's poor leadership makes me question going out there again. However I will note that a bad day at airsoft is always better than a good day at work or school, and nice job black ops, you're leadership certainly made any move we were to make (against the honest players) much more challenging, and during several good clean engaugements, re-enforcements seemed to carry the engaugement in your favor.

I wasn't there, but I heard from many people that it was run poorly. On the other hand, there are many events that we all love and cherish that have had terrible games, and they have learned from their mistakes.
Let's not go so far as to say we will never go back or anything like that. There is always a chance that we will return, pending some sort of "word" that those events won't take place anymore.
Poor leadership and planning can ruin any event. I would like to see games where the CO has to have some experience running their teams side, and should have experience on the field.
I have been CO on many fields this year and the events were run great. I will NEVER take the CO job unless I have been to the field before, and know exactly where everything is (which only takes one event usually). This ensures that the guy running one whole side that is in charge of all of their fun, knows what he is doing and can lead accordingly.
I'm kinda glad I didn't go, but I'll give anything one chance.

Despite what was already mentioned I did have a decent time, and if our team or a large enough amount of people from MIA decide to attend another OP there I'd probably go again.
Yes the poor sportsmanship, lack of coordination on green side, and lack of clarification on the rules did make my experience playing less than desirable, but over-all I don't want to pass blame to anyone or everyone there or anything regardless of what went down, because I've been to fields where I had a horrible experience, but I went back again to give it another chance and ended up having a phenomenal time.

EDIT: Oh snap! I'm in it too (@ 4:05) running back to re-spawn with my P90 running back to re-load!
