First off, it is manufactured by Tokyo Marui (Like you guys already did not now that). Features: L.A.M. Unit- The L.A.M. Unit isnt that good besides for looks. There is a little light that can get some work done, but the 2 LED laser are just a white and red dot. Youll have to do some work on it. (Ive posted how to make the LED light an actuall laser in the post "NBB Questions" Suppressor- The suppressor is for looks. Its a piece of plastic but does have some softner in it so it might silence a little bit. Otherwise the markings on the silencer are pretty nice. Magazine- Magazine is FULLY metal and is very easy to load. Can take 28 shots. Field Strip- For the first time in airsoft, there is a NBB that can be field stripped. The slide on the gun can move, but when shot it does nothing, I call it FSNBB (Field Stripable Non Blow Back) Decocking Lever- Sorry, but its non functional. Trigger Pull- The triger pull is above average but not great. Before you take the shot, as you pull the trigger it makes a little creeking noise. Also, the hammer action has low reaction, but other than that its great. The real Mk23 might not be as fast either!!! 3 Ways To Shoot:1- Traditional double action trigger. 2- Arming the hammer by hand cocking it. 3- A first on a NBB. Put the field-strip lever down which will release the slide and then just pull the slide back so your cocking it just like the real gun! The natural reason for this cocking option is the field takedown feature that you use to take the gun apart with. Price- Ive found the best price on the net. $99.00+$22.00 making a total of $121.00. It is also shipped Speed Post!! The site is: www.tokyohobby.net

I said they had the lowest prices on the net, not that they where the best to buy from. If you actually want to pay and GET your TM Mk23 NBB, get it from wargameclub.com. Its $117+$38.50 S&H. $155.50 total. Pay buy Pay Pal get it for $150.50. ;D
But Its a little on the expensive side, oh well, If your loaded go for it, if your like me and want it, start getting used to holding a snow shovel!!!

Since when does WGC give a discount for Paypal payment? Is this info coming from 1st hand use of the gun, or just things that you've read? Because I've read a few different opinions on if the silencer is metal or not... Also, it's not the first NBB that can be field stripped. I have an old MGC CZ75 that comes apart similar to the real gun, allowing the slide to come off and internals to be exposed.

I've also read mixed reports on what material the silencer is made of. Most do say plastic but there are quite a few that state it's made of thin aluminum. The barrel is also made of metal so having an aluminum silencer would make sense. Oh, and mmmm@Minky's MGC CZ-75's! Rememeber when you planned to give me one of those?

Minky, I think the $5 dollar 'discount' comes from the $5 they give you when you sign up with PayPal.

The $5 that they give you to sign up with paypal isnt really a gift. In order to qualify for that you need to get your account verified with your checking account and transfer $xxx info your palpal account. I think it is like 250 or something. And also a couple other things. You just need to jump through a few hoops, hehe. Hopefully this helped clear that up.

I'm wishing I woulda done that $5 bonus thing back when I first started using Paypal, since now they require you to sign up for their Money Market account and give your social security number to them! No thanks...
Hado: Aye, I remember. But that was before I knew what rare little bastards they are, hehe. ;D

Yeah, I am not really sure where paypal is heading in the future. Now they are owned by ebay, have many multi million class action lawsuites against them and have been raising rates over the years. It is a great concept, and hopefully it will continue to be a part of online commerce, while still being an effective monatary medium.
Note: I forgot to mention the triple back-flip which you need to do to get your $5 sign up bonus. So keep practicing this.

Received my MK23 Socom kit today from www.wolverinetactical.com and I have to say I was really surprised with how fun this gun is to shoot. After reading a couple reviews over on the ASZ message boards I wasn't expecting all that much. But after opening the case and seeing it with my own eyes I was more than pleased with this newest Marui release. Weight was my primary concern, afterall such a big handgun with LAM and Silencer should weigh quite a bit. While it does weigh less than my SVI 5" the Marui MK23 Socom just feels heavier. I'm guessing it's just because it's such a hefty looking gun. Lam unit looks great and is powered by three AAA batteries which give the flashlight enough power to nicely light up a dark hallway. It's not a BLINDING light but hey, for the price it's more than I expected. The best part about the Socom HAS to be the sound. This has to be the first gun I've had the pleasure of shooting where the silencer really does make the gun SILENT! *GASP* That's right Gentlemen without the silencer attached the gun lets out a loud "POOK!", but with the silencer on it becomes a deadly tool of stealth and silence. All you really hear is the hammer striking and then the sound of the bb hitting its target. Occasional droplets of drool can also be heard hitting the floor shortly after from the pure joy experienced by the Operator. ;D If only I would have had this gun sooner. I could have taken out Bigmack, Newman and Slick Eddie at the battle of "Da Fort" before they'd even be able to figure out my position. Socom THIS, baby! So yep, in case you haven't figured it out yet I'm quite pleased with my new toy. So once again, Thanks to Mike & Clayton @ www.wolverinetactical.com .
