On gas blow backs, after you unload your weapon does the slide stay back, like a real gun?

Yes, on certain makes/models.

It does depend on the make and model, as Motown said. You might've seen some guns listed as 'NBB's, which stands for 'Non Blow Backs'. Those guns don't have a moving slide at all.

Can't you pull the slide back on a few NBBs, like the Marui Mk23? Or am I just crazy?

Yes, you are crazy Blorfo, but you're also right. ;D
The TM Mk23 has a movable slide, although it doesn't replicate the full travel of the real gun. I'm pretty sure there were a few old-school NBBs with movable slides as well...
Another thing to note, even though on some guns the slide might lock back, it might not do so in a realistic manner. The best example is the KWC light-weight line of GBB pistols, which use the magazine itself to hold the slide back after the last round. There is no slide lock built into the gun, just the follower on the mag that catches the slide, so it's not possible to lock the slide back without the mag in the gun. Another thing, on certain guns the slide might not lock back as far as it would on the real gun.

Minky, does the TM NBB SOCOM have a slide lock? If so, does it work like the real SOCOM?

Sorry, I can't answer that question for you. I'm pretty sure the answer is no, but I can't be certain. Hadoken owns that gun though, so you might want to contact him or hope he sees this thread.

Nope, the Marui MK23 Socom NBB does not have a slide lock. It's too bad really, it would have made it even better.
Ahh well.

That means I've made my choice! Someone is selling me a KSC Mk23 SOCOM GBB Hard Kick version, in box with everything plus a Black Hawk SOCOM Holster and a Tokyo Marui LAM (Better than nothing, will be upgrading for sure!) with only 2 mags through it for 175.00, or 3 PS2 games and 60.00! Aint that a great deal? ;D ;D ;D

That's a nice deal. I know you'll be happier with the KSC version since realism is your primary concern. Hope the deal goes well.

You've asked that question so many times and in different sections of the forum my head is spinning. Try just asking in one spot or directly to the person via e-mail, PM, or a messanger service.
