[glow=orange,2,300]SFOD Presents: Operation Deatchwatch[/glow] [glow=orange,2,300]S.F.O.D.s tribute to the undead. We will be hosting a Halloween themed game.[/glow] Intervals of 10 people will be selected to go down and defend the city against an infinate mass of undead enemys. Once they are wiped out, another 10 will be selected and so on... your scores will be monitered and timed, and the winning team will win a prize. The 10 defenders cannot leave city limits and cannot use melee attacks either, Once touched you are considered dead. Everyone will get plenty of chances on both sides of the fight. Anyone who wants to keep playing zombie and do less of the defending, you're more than welcome to do so. Weapons & Equipment: S.F.O.D. Will be providing all the weapons & ammo for this game and to each of the 10 defenders, a tac vest as well. The weapons will go as follows: Start with a Spring shotgun, similar to the olg UTG single shot shotties. You can upgrade to various other weapons including a CYMA AK-47 LPEG via the perks system we will be using. Anyone that has older SPRING PISTOLS, or CHEAPO SPRING RIFLES, please bring them and find me or Grey Fox the day of and we'll give a final word as to if you can use them or not. I'm going to run this by Grey Fox and see what he says and I'll update accordingly to his response on this matter.A cache of perks will be offered as well, if killed within city limits a specialized Zombie will drop his/her perk whereby a defender can retrieve it and use it at the Armory. If a Specialized Zombie is killed outside city limits he/she is to return to respawn with it. These perks include.... 1. Armory Key 2. Ammo Supply 3. Extra Life 4. Unlockable Area 5. ? Respawns: Zombies have unlimited Respawns, but must clock in at one of three respawn stations, they will be marked by a white oil drumbs and white glow sticks Place: S.F.O.D. Field 4216 S. State RD Davison Mi 48423 Price:$20 Time: Registration:4:00pm Breighing: 5:00pm Game start: 5:30 Zombies: You are not expected to limp around moaning... not the case. Instead think of it as a game of touch football, you touch the defender he's done, a defender shoots you - you respawn and come right back to get him Defenders: Other than fake arms, legs, throwable skulls and severed heads, the Zombies will be unarmed... avoid them like the pleague as if they touch you you're done! but give 'em a break... No Head shots please. [glow=red,2,300] NO Camo Restrictions[/glow] For those who want to, we encourage you to dress the part for Zombies. This is meant to be a fun game, not like the typical serious war games. Let's have some fun with this one. Full Seal Goggles are a MUST A good flashlight is highly reccommended, as this game WILL run into the dead hr's of the night. Also, it may be a good idea to bring your CQB gear as in the down time, when/if there is any, I will likely be trying to run some CQB and pistol fun down in the city. Also, I'm going to try and squeeze in some Splinter Cell games, so for those who have been screamin' for those, the time has come. I'll be updating this post with any important information and questions about the op as they arise [glow=red,2,300]Victoms of the Undead Army[/glow]Immortal x20 RadioFlyer Mantaray31 pr0p1p3r noctis Onslaught DrDave88 Team Swag x4 Conscript x3 Seenkosk x2

We'll give you an exact count as to how many of us Immortal members will be showing up as it gets closer. I'd say by the 18th, i'll have a head count for you Connors. This sounds to be a very fun nite indeed.............by the way, is there gonna be any thriller music playing during this little event?

Sounds good Grimm. Hmm, I never thought about music, but I'm sure we're gonna be pulling something together, being halloween and all. I'll tlak to Fox and see what he's got planned for that. Now there are still a lot of things we are not going to reveal until the day of, just to keep it secret and so someone else doesn't jack our ideas and try it out their way before we get to put our own ideas into action.

Will we be able to use our own weapons, or are you providing the weapons to not give any team an advantage? Will zombies be allowed to use flashlights?
I second the music idea, 28 weeks later's soundtrack playing would be awesome.

No, it is a saturday. This is to account for the 4PM start. It's a nighttime scenario. this event will be mainly after dark. Will we be able to use our own weapons, or are you providing the weapons to not give any team an advantage? Will zombies be allowed to use flashlights? Yes, weapons will be provided. We're trying a special system here, so there should be no problems with hot weapons, or an extreme advantage. Zombies can do what they want, but in some cases, you my want to stay "stealth" as it can give you an advantage as it gets darker. However, I am going to reccommend that everyone carry a flashlight just to be safe and in case of an emergency. This game was planned to be starting in early evening, so there will stilll be daylight for anyone that needs to get a feel for the field so that when it does get dark, you don't get disoriented and can still find your way around.

I have been out of the loop for a real long time now but the fall is my favorite season to play and this sounds like a great, not so serious, way for me to get back in the action. Can I bring my civilian zombie hunter gear?

Count me in and I'll have 1, maybe 2 with me. From what I read, there won't be any sort of full auto games? It is pretty much a CQB evening? If it is CQB, are there any full autos allowed? The only reason I ask, is because I will be bringing my nephew and possibly another young one with me who has a "Firepower" or equivalent full auto gun. I just want to let them know what to expect.
Thanks guys!

To everyone: I believe by the way Fox has planned this one, we are going to be using ALL SPRING weapons, which will be provided by us, SFOD, for the main event.
CQB weapons that you may have , I welcome you to bring them as in the down time, if there is any, I will try and run some smaller cqb style games down in the city.
DrDave: If you want to bring them, please do. You'll need to talk to grey Fox the day of to find out the final word on things like that.
