Well, while not a whole lot of bodies showed up this event, I still have to say it was a hell of a good time!!!
The mysterious golf cart that randomly tried to drive onto the field was great!!! And I must say the mobile respawn just added a whole new level to insanity in an airsoft event. But if anything, the shooting out of a window was probably the icing on the cake of the event. It's sad to have seen it happen, but was hilarious all in it's own right.
Thanks for putting it on JD, I know the 5 of us from Immortal, had a great time out on your field. For those of you that have not been to the Caseville field, I have to say that it is one of those fields that when you go to, you can't help but want to go back.
The field is not too hilly, but not too flat. There is plenty of brush cover amongst the whole field, along with plenty of fallen trees....they sometimes come in doubles when you go to jump over one of them......and as well as the trees standing provide you with plenty of cover as well. It is also a snipers field. As i stated, plenty of vegetation cover to hide in, but you can move silently and flank people without them knowing your there, but it also has good visibility range. The only way your gonna lose a target is if they manage to step or drop into the many naturally made fox holes, or the many small ravines/valleys/hills, or hell just drop prone into the vegetation and crawl.
I must also give props to you on your excellent boundary lines that are there. There is no way that your going to get lost in that set of woods. The whole length of the field has a culvert/ditch that runs beside it with very thick tree/brush in it. And on the opposite side, you have a similar thickness of brush/trees, but will eventually hit water not far past that if I'm not mistaken (I really didn't care to try and find out). And then the width of the boundaries are staked off by orange spray paint on many trees, along with orange tape or the many private property signs that line the edge of it.
All in all, a great time out there, and again a very very nice playing field. Will look forward to many more skirmishes/events out there in the future!!!!
