Ok, so this is next saturday, and it's to start helping to pay for additions to the field. We will have electricity now? Nifty! but how is that going to work? Did you get a generator or something?

Yes, I did buy a generator and a few tarps with poles to set up as a shade tent(After the heat stroke of White Whale).

Sweet! Right on. Erik just now is calling me about using the field this Saturday for a FLAK team game. I figure, we all get together and have a look at your new equipment, and we'll play another scenario and maybe help drum up support for this game, which is the week after. What do you think?

That would be fine with me, I'm not sure the weather is going to cooperate for the 29th(60% chance all day). If it does let up enough where we can get out there, call me.

My friend and I are noobs to the sport. I have a decent gun but his are all Wal-Mart Specials. I know these will put him at a serious disadvantage. We would both like to participate in the game. Would he still be accepted with crappy guns or will everyone just laugh at him?

That you ask that question indicates that you probably need to go back and read the noob faqs, as taht is a very common question that has been addressed. For the record, it's not what you carry onto the field, it's how you play and how well you can get along with others that actually matters.

Manta, Everyone is welcome to play. I don't think a crappy wal-mart gun is going to get laughed at. We are out there to play and have fun, If someone has a problem with it, I'll deal with it. As long as you have full seal goggles and understand the MIA Rules(as I explain them at the field), you and your friend are more than welcome to stop out and play. If you really need a better gun, I have a couple that I can rent out.

Thank you for the information. I did not even see the noob section. A lot of good stuff there. Learned a lot by reading it. We are planning to stop out. Hope to make some new friends.

Just caught this. I would like to join in this Saturday, if I may. B.C. isn't far from Schoolcraft. About forty minutes or less to get there. Bah, I haven't got a sidearm though.

I'll be there for the morning. Can't stay too late because I work in the morning, but hopefully I'll have a new toy to shoot people with by then.

No roster? I would like to come check out the field, but would also to see how many players are going to be there.
