It was really fun today, I had a lot of fun, just that I had to leave early is the only problem. The funny thing was that when I got there, I only saw 2 people, CQBR and Bison, and immediately I thought that this was it, but about 10 minutes later team COG came and fixed that, so in all we had 8 players, the field is huge, and would easily fit 2 times as many people as SFOD... and maybe then some, as this was the first MiA hosted skirmish here, it was great, and they expect to have a village very similar to what SFOD has, so whoever didn't come missed one hell of a game, even though the amount of people participating was low.

I really wanted be there, but both of my friends bailed on me, so I had no way to get up there. Looks like an awesome field, and a good time. Hopefully I'll be there next time.

I am glad you enjoyed yourself Dan. No problemo Sean. Thanks for giving me the heads up. Although a dissappointing-ly low turnout from what I was told here, we still had a ton of fun today. I am glad everyone had a great time today and this is just the first of many. Thanks to team COG for bringing our a few of your goodies for us to cart around for objectives. See ya'll next time! P.S.-Here are a few pics. Couldn't get too many since my dad was busy this time setting objectives, etc. s306.photobucket.com/albums/nn263/cqbr21/MI%20Game%20Pics%202009/Caseville%20Aug%2023/

I was extremely impressed with the field. It wasn't over run with undergrowth, so movement was easy. It is fairly large at I think 40 acres which made for plenty of flanking opportunities. And it had so many little dips and ridges that if you were willing to crawl, then cover was almost everywhere. I can't think of one instance where I did not have the option to lay down and slink away to safety thanks to those little ridges. This field has the potential to be a snipers paradise.
The only improvements that I can think of are to add some structures for potential objectives and for attack and defend. But definitely keep those bunkers made from pine trees. Also a better bridge is needed to stop the fat kids from falling through(as funny as that might be).
It was nice meeting everyone and I'm looking forward to the next event. We just need more bodies out there.
Also, I never paid the admission fee so if CQBR or your dad has a Pay Pal I can send it to you that way or at any upcoming events.

Well all in all, This was an amazing day, everyone who couldn't make it, sorry to here that, but everyone who pussed out, you missed a great field and a great day! The turn out was a little small but it was perfect for playing smaller games and working as a team. The field is awesome! It reminds me in a way of Schoolcraft's field but I think way better, Like Bison said, with the rolling hills and dips, and with the spaced out trees and ferns, this field is wonderful!.
This field has a lot of potential for bigger lets say 30v30 games, with the size you can move freely and can reposition very easily. There is talk for making buildings and more bunkers which will changer up the game play a bit and that's soon to come.
I had a great time playing and bull shitting with everyone, good job Bison being a sneaky snake.
Thanks CQBR for letting us try out the field, had a great time!

I have nothing else to say...Bison definitely get's the Secret Squirrel award of the day, bar none. He snuck up on the opposing team when it was 1 vs 1 so many times we lost count...I have nothing else to say. I'm glad you guys enjoyed it Snik. Hopefully the next game we will have some more bodies so we can test out a few of the different objectives we were all talking about.
