Fun event, got to use my CA M15a1 for the first time and I have to say, I'm going to have to fiddle with it as the accuracy is a bit low. I'd say it was a good first run for the 3 team style of gameplay. Due to the heat i couldn't wear my usual ski mask/balaclava because my goggles would fog like crazy. Thumbs up to the guys I was with that made the suicide run back into the village, I'm surprised we got as far as we did.
My complaints for this event would be calling of hits ( I understand there were quite a few first timers, but some cases were ridiculous.), Artillery (At times i wondered why people even brought airsoft guns.), and the para-drops ( Good idea, just needs to be smoothed out. Putting us right next to an enemy spawn is never a good idea).

Hate to have to post this but...
My camera lens has gone missing. I never even took the camera bag out of my car, and I know it was in there before hand. It's a 40-150mm lens and has a UV filter on the front. If you some how ended up with it, I would really appreciate getting it back.

India. You? The dang pakistani's had us pinned down right by our spawn and someone had a SAW. Owned us all for a while. Sorry to bring this up so late, I've been out of town for a while. That was me an our squad, and that was one of the most intense engagements of the entire day. We pushed up towards the spawn and just held that position like a leech until we got called back by our commander, and just RAN back towards our spawn. We were pinned down and outnumbered, but just kept laying fire down, then sprinted down a muddy hill and just booked it out of there.

I have nothing else to say, man your squad had us there for soooo long. Finally you left and we could move into the city. Ugh.

Sorry to kinda derail discussion, but Glass, were those pictures BigJ posted the ones you were talking about or are there more yet to come?
Yeah, Warlock, that was a really fun engagement. We ended up basically walking into an ambush at the bottom of the hill though, which basically ruined the mood. All our forces had pulled out of there without letting us know, then told us to fall back to the village, even though we were holding on fine. So basically, we walked into the village, got into a building, and all got bang killed. Not cool.

Those are pretty much all of the pictures. I know there are some from another camera, but not very many.
Person using the camera just didn't have the settings right, so it's unlikely you guys will be seeing any real good ones.
As for the video... well someone just broke mine, so we have to find someone with a mini-dv camcorder so that we can upload them to the computer.

Yeah, sorry about having to pull you guys out like that, the problem is that our spawn had just been overrun so no reinforcements were ever going to make it to you. Also we had a mission to take the mine so the longer we were bogged down there, the harder it was for us to get any points. And thel longer the Chinese could do what they wanted with no enemy. I also knew that the Chinese were getting ready to enter the village in-mass so you would have been cut off and surrounded had you held there any longer. The fact that they hit the village at the same time we did was just bad timing.
It was Patton who said "I don't want to hear any reports that we are holding our ground, let the Hun do that. We are advancing constantly and we are not interested in holding onto anything except the enemy."
I must commend everyone that was involved in that fight. When the order was given to fall back, you did, and did it well, even though you didn't understand why. Lesser troops would have ignored, or argued with the order, thinking they knew better than the guy looking at the big picture.
The only reason we did so well against such incredible odds was that we all worked as a team. Once again it was an honor to work with so many fine airsofters.

Like Grandpa always says "Don't do that." Don't be the person he says that to.

The video is going to take a bit... I am still working on two other videos that need to be finished first... and then I have to get a miniDV cam to import the video to my computer. But it will be up as soon as I can.
