Not a bad milsim at all. After the kinks were worked out it ran pretty well. The role players did a very nice job. Especially when one of the mod's called a civilian a hostage and one of my Task Force Iris counterparts ended up with a pistol in his face because of it. We still ended up accomplishing our objective of getting the PACKAGES to there safe zone. I also enjoyed saving India's butts. Who says twelve well trained men cant still own on two teams of thirty, I have nothing else to say. tons of fun. All and all a very fun event. Cant wait to see more pictures. I love the one of me and my trusty zombat. Go Pakistan!!!!!

What an amazing game I had a lot of fun. I had great times rolling with Maverick as a 2 man team and picking off China and at the start Pakistan. I have to say the scariest part was when we were taking out people at the radio tower village and I see a China man stick out and shoot an m203 shower over our heads. It was pretty amazing. Thanks to all that came out I met a bunch of people and had a great time. Good job leading us Dingo not bad for your first time!

This was my first "real" game, and I had a blast! The afternoon was definitely the best, as most of the kinks were worked out. Major props to the Mods and civys. Some issues with hit calling, but overall a blast. Great hanging with the TFI guys and Preacherboy. Two thumbs up Canto. Go Pakis!

Good game overall, it was good directing traffic for 12 crazy SOB's in tan. I really think we held our own out there.
Three way games are always confusing, usually it turns into two teams ganging up on the third, or two teams fighting it out letting the third do whatever. But the mods did a great job of keeping things fun.
The second half was definitly simpler. Being outnumbered, I liked the idea of doing hit and run style missions like assassinations or hostage rescue/escort better than trying to hold ground.
There were some problems with individuals not calling hits but that's pretty much the norm. You know who you were. Again the mods handeled things very well, great job!
I also like to thank the team of indian players that helped pull me out of the sink hole that I was stuck in. (after shooting me) I'd probobly still be out there if it wasn't for you.
Overall it was a blast and I'm sorry we all had to leave so early. Go Pakistan!

That was pretty fun. I'm glad I could borrow a red dot (thanks!). For the first bit of the game I didn't have any rear sight, which isn't good. Meeting team FLAK was hilarious, and I sigged part of our conversation. My gun was actually shooting at the correct velocity for once. I got my fair share of kills (and deaths, I have nothing else to say). The paratrooper thing didn't really work out, but it was pretty cool, anyways. I didn't get as dirty as I thought I would, I went through the swamp quite a few times. I got to meet a lot of cool people. I hope we can do this again!
Thanks Finn

Had fun, despite being slaughtered as a team all day. I want to thank Dingo for taking over as team commander, since I didn't have a radio, mine went down a couple weeks ago and I haven't replaced it yet.
I want to thank India for taking a beating, and still staying upbeat and functioning. We had our moments, and made the enemy pay dearly for their... "victories." We always seemed to be stuck between the other two teams. First objective, get the civvies out of the city... sent most of our guys in, only to have China spawn on our ridge and kill the few of us left on our ridge, and then both teams fired on our guys in the valley of death from both ridges. After the VIP assassination we barely had time to get split from Pakistan before they turned on us, and we were massacred in the marsh, as Pakistan fired from the ridge, China raining fire from the city, and mercenaries coming from the VIP's location we just cleared from behind. We were borked, but thats war I guess.
Only complaints, was some hit calling issues. People constantly removing their goggles to clear them on the field, and darn T-shirts. Once the jackets came off it got incredibly difficult to distinguish friend from foe. Tops need to stay on. More radios are needed for team communication, but I'm not one to point fingers, as mine was down too.

Overall it was a very fun game. Thank you Canto, the mods, and the roll players for putting on this game! Other then hit calling which enough people here have commented about there were two major issues that my team ran into.
There were at least half a dozen times where we would be in the village or other areas engaging enemy personal and there would be a few guys with kill rags on their heads standing between myself and my target. I became really sick of people telling me to stop firing, yet they were standing around for minutes providing cover for someone. Each incident was most likely caused by people standing around waiting for a medic. I also noticed that our team had a difficult time keeping the squads together, and by the second half we were just blobs. Now instead of just complaining I'd like to inject an idea to resolve that. A few weeks ago we played with TFI and I really enjoyed their medic and squad system. Their squad system stated that when your squad dropped below 33% strength you pulled back to spawn. This would remedy have one or two guys wounded from a squads standing around for 5 mins waiting for a medic. There medic system also had the chance of not reviving which helped balance every squad having a medic. Just an idea, I really enjoyed their system.
The other issue we encountered were safety kills. They were non existent. Myself and my teammates probably called safety kills three or four times in the village where we would of shot them literally point blank range, and every time they would just sit their and argue until we got fed up and just walked away or they would sit there stunned, back up a few steps and shoot us. It was very frustrating.
I apologize for bringing these up, I only did it so you can consider these points when hosting another event. Again a very fun day. It blows my mind when I think of how many BBs were shot in the village that day. With all the fire coming from every ridge I didn't think there was one spawn cycle when I didn't return to spawn, but man it was fun! Thank you again for hosting this game! ---Nomad---

Hi there, Dr. Hunchback here. That was an interesting game for me. Playing as a prominent role play character was certainly more interesting than I had expected. When they asked me to be a doctor, I imagined my role being a bit more benevolent and utility. I hadn't considered how much I was going to have to get in peoples faces on the field (in character). Thanks goes to Jen for setting a much better example and reminding our players (at gunpoint) that language and considering what you say is always important! ;D For our other players, good work on being patient and putting up with the heat. I know it was a first time for a lot of you out there and I think you did just fine. But a future note for all role players, just because you're playing a civilian, wearing some protective gear beyond the mask and goggles is still recommended, as is carrying your own water of some kind. You all saw how long you were sitting out there with minimal shade and maximum heat and humidity. To the players I was obligated to harass, I know I ticked a few of you off, but thanks for understanding and being good sports about it. I know that if it were me in your place, my reactions would have been the same. Especially you Tex, when you shot me point blank in the chest. I was smiling cuz I would have done the same thing. Dropped my brand new pistol mag in the creek, lucky me, I found it almost immediately. I'm still in the process of cleaning the silt out of it now. And we found a few new hazards on the field! I won't go into detail but they seem to be easy to deal with, so I wouldn't worry. The three team setup certainly was confusing, but I think it worked out just fine in the end. I didn't get a feel for how the barter system played out but the results were certainly interesting to see with the arty strikes and resource delivery. And yes, China has the power of 400 babies...all wrapped up in their team commander! Oh yeah, the dud arty strike, thanks guys, we got that merc objective thanks to that. But yes, I heard plenty and saw for myself problems with hit calling, removing goggles, and our new folks not understanding the rules of the field. I would think that this could be attributed to the large amount of new and unfamiliar players we saw out there. I think in the future, in a similar situation with a lot of young or unidentified people on the field, we just do a quick run down of the basic rules. As in what hits count (weapon hits do), reminders about blind-firing (peeking through the cracks to shoot is a no), what medic system is being used, and so on. Just what I think would be an obvious suggestion. It was a real challenge out there all around, and I say, it came out as well as, if not better than could be expected. I'm eager to see all the photos and videos from the field here soon. Oh, one last note. Motorola Talkabouts, invest folks. It seems that the most persistent problem out there is the lack of communications, and that can be crippling, as it was during this op. I know this tends to be an item that folks save for the end of their list, and I understand. But for those of you who are looking to spend more time at these events, especially those involving big fields or those with restricted line-of-sight or messenger access, please reconsider.

They said that they did in the briefing after lunch. Definitely looking forward to seeing some more pictures to see if I show up. By the way, thanks to the people that let my father and I borrow radios. Forgot to mention that earlier.
