Hey guys. I found these goggles and was thinking of getting them. www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=542576 The only problrm is that there is no spec for the impact rating. I even went to the manufacturer and couldnt even find the goggles on there. Any help would be very much appreciated. Greg

Yeah, if they don't say they're ANSI rated, they're probably not. Go to www.botachtactical.com and order some Bolle T-800's. They're cheap and effective.

Or goggleoverstock.com for Arena Flakjaks. They're great too, and only $20 shipped.

Flak Jaks are not that great, I have 2 pair, and they fog like no tomorrow, you would need to remove the razors and that just makes it contradictory to the reasoning behind a full seal goggle, ESS goggles are the way to go. You can get them on ebay for like 30 dollars plus shipping.

If you remove the black "razors" they don't have any problems with fogging, as far as I've heard. And I don't think they are big enough for a bb to get through, so it doesn't really contradict the full seal goggle rule. I use Turbofans though, so...I can't really comment...
Though I've seen a LOT of the Bolle T-800's fog, so personally I'd stay away from them.

I got Bolle X500's and wear eyeglasses underneath, only my eyeglasses have fogged under them for some odd reason last time I played for about two minutes. Otherwise haven't had a problem.
Go with Bolle's from Botach.

So, that is why I switched to ESS goggles.

If you have a hundred and sixty dollars laying around I'd get some ess turbofans. I've used flaks, bolles and even regular ess goggles and they all fogged. Trust me on the turbo fans worth every penny.

Plus, it's fun to laugh at other people when their goggles fog and all you have to do is press a switch I have nothing else to say.

I've never heard of a full-seal sunglass style setup that didn't fog badly. With bulkier setups, they can build in some room for wee vents in the design, but the sunglasses really are fully sealed to your face.

Those Peltors fog terribly. Even if you wear them not playing with the sunglasses arms, they fog. I thought they'd be really cool for airsoft, but just fog awful. With the strap on there's no way to have them far enough away from your face to let the heat and condensation escape, so they fog up almost immediately. Unless you are almost constantly moving your head, they WILL fog.
As for the T-800's, I've had the Guarder knock-offs forever (back when Bolle's were still like 90 bucks) and I have a thermal lens in mine (the rainbow colored one). While I may get some moisture, I very rarely if ever get fog.

Sounds good Thor. Where would I be able to get replaceable lenses like the one you described?
