Junk is a strong word. I don't know those brands, but I'd wager that like most cheaper scopes, they'll be OK for airsoft if treated well. Start smacking 'em around, or leave 'em outside for six months, and you'll begin to see why the real thing costs so much more.

Thanks Zorak. I'm not too sure, now, about a brand(s) veterans haven't heard about. I'm not much of a gambler.

Consider resale value too. Stuff like what you posted wont get too many offers. But G&P Aimpoints and the like will, and they usually go fast.

But G&P Aimpoints and the like will, and they usually go fast. So I've noticed in the commerce section. I'm looking to get a new optic for my M16, and I'm just having a bit of trouble coming to a final conclusion between ACOGs and Aimpoints. *Thanks for the tip about resale, I really hadn't thought about that.

If you have a straight up M16, I would go with the ACOG, as that would be most fitting for the weapon.
Aimpoint = CQB/Reflex Sight
Acog = Magnification, use for targets down range.
That's the best way I think I can sum it up in a clear manner.

Ok, I see. If necessary, add one of those doctor optics for CQ.
