I was chatting with one of the painball reffs while walking back to the parking lot, he said they had some loggers come in a clear that path out, but they didn't remove the wood like they where supposed to.
There was some cheating going on for sure, Echo had a lot of standup players and it was fun going against you guys in that last alamo style mission. Right now my back hurts like hell from body slaming a car to reach one of our guys screaming for medic. Crazyman, it was good to meet you, and I love your H-SCAR.
Thanks Skypilot for running this show, I had fun.

I had a good time towards the end of the day, with the seize of the bus area and the house hold at the end.
During the seizing of the bus, we had two guys with black shirts on with no sleeves run through the field right to try to get close to us. Well we had a gunner laying in the tall grass who lead them the entire time and they never called out. They then ran to the trees which they both were behind. I was on the left and Prophet was on the right. We threw fire into them, they both called out. then they fired again. So we fired again and they said we are out stop shooting. We stopped shooting. Then they both get up and fire on us claiming they are both medics and they are back in the game. They ran away and we shot at them more, tagging them. They continued to run back cover and fail to leave the game field.
I think the major thing that got me was, I think I was talking to sky pilot and he said, none of the enemy medics are refilling their med packs. So how are you doing the medic thing?
Several incidents with people not calling out.
I thought Sky did a good job, and I appreciate him speaking up when he did see things going on.
That guy at the end who blind fired point blank full autod the house and then admitted it was my owwy of the day.
I enjoyed playing with the Spetsnaz!
All and all we had a good time, maybe next time we can have a lunch hour to fix teams if they are far off and so forth.

All and all we had a good time, maybe next time we can have a lunch hour to fix teams if they are far off and so forth. I believe he meant seizing the bus and not ceasing the bus, but I could be wrong.... Anyway, as I understood it, most of our guys just died and didn't utilize the medic system, I only saw one medic that I knew of and that was early on in the game in the house. In fairness though, I was far from any support for most of the day but my take on things was simply that we were not using as many medics because our people were not dying as much and because when we did have casualties, they just walked back and waited for a respawn. I was under the impression that the medics would be able to get additional first aid kits in the field by performing certain tasks... was I mistaken? Maybe that was a different event I am thinking of... I have to admit that the logs were a pain in the ass to get around, and they seemed like they were wasted where they were at. I was thinking about how useful the stumps and logs would have been in the field as cover. I was thinking that they could have been piled around in different areas to allow players to stack them up and constuct field expedient ramparts and bunkers to help defend certain areas. I think that last skirmish, when we gave Whiskey the house, was absolutely bad-ass! ;D It made for one hell of a good fight and I was particularly impressed with the way some guys from Whiskey finally spawned outside and used the chance to flank the attacking guys from Echo. All in all, one hell of a good game!

Swampy was the only Echo medic I saw all ay. He is on my squad and I ha him running to almost every battle because everyone was on the radio calling for medics, I am pretty sure that there were no other Echo Medics. We were told in the beginning that medic notes would be refilled by accomplishing objectives, and we got almost every objective and never refills. We had info passed down somehow to reuse the old notes because they had misplaced the ones to give us for refills. So our one and only working medic did that.
I just had surgery on my knee a few weeks ago and had part of the knee cap removed, The doctor is pissed I played airsoft yesterday, I have nothing else to say. I can barely move my leg now.

Some day Reaper is going to be that bad-ass looking old guy with an eye patch and a peg-leg .... still toting an AEG. I would never haver knwon he had surgery for the way he was running his ass off all day.

Yesterday I was dead tired and didn't post more than the scores. Today, I have enegry to post.
I'm not going to post on the sportsmanship, except for one incident I watched happen at the end of the game. To the person who blaintly blind-fired into the house, then ran around and went full auto into people at point blank. When he was asked "You could have seriouslly injuried someone! Do you think it's funny?" And his reply was "YES!". To that person, your behavior and disregard for safety is juvienlle and not welcome in the sport of Airsoft. I know what you look like, and I will NOT tolerate that behavior at my events, so I will make this clear as possible. You're NOT be welcomed at any of my events.
Now moving on... The field, Yes as many people said it was a clusterfuck. So, I would like to clue everyone into the 'clusterfuck' of problems on my side.
The field owner was very unorganized up to the time of starting. I had many phone calls up to Friday regarding the Registeration, Field, Boundries, Refs, Dead/Respawn Zone, etc. And everything that was promised didn't happen.
We were to have a larger field then what was given including the large field with objects and a fort on it. Due to the turn out, prehaps this was better. But still the same.
The building was to open at 8am so everyone could register, crono, etc. This didn't open until 9am.
Boundries, were to be marked so there wouldn't be any problems with paintballers, etc. Well there was a problem with this as other people playing paintball crossed over.
Refs, I was told I would have 3 refs to assist. We got 2 refs and one of them dissapear for the day and the other person didn't do much at all.
Flags for Zones. There was to be PVC pipes with Color on each and, not some f'n bullshit cones. Yesterday morning, the refs 'couldn't find them'. Just adding more to my headache at 8am.
Dead Area, I was also promised a 'safe area' so we didn't have to walk back... Again, there was nothing. As a result, the parking lot area was our only choice.
Logs... Oh yea... my thoughts exactly... WTF.
Raffle, I was dissapointed with the army surplus items. I was told he was going to have a sponsor and get a GBB pistol, rather we get a canteen, pull-overs, and a back pack. Err.. disappointment on my part. I'm glad I was able to get the laser sights and open eye sights.
There were many other issues (including one of the refs that stills has a issue against airsofters SINCE REDOUT...f'n 3 years ago).
So, I apolgize for a 'not so smooth' event. The field owner and staff a) didn't want us, or b) just had there heads up there asses. Either way, I won't be organizing any large events there again for a very long time (or prehaps ever).

Hey Sky you did the best you could, and that's all we could ask for. And I still had a lot of fun. Thanks again for organizing this game for us.

Exactly... You've put on some great games in the past, Sky... Not all of them are going to be huge hits, but at least you're making an effort to bring us more games. A) you can't control the cheaters B) shit happens, and paintballers are apparently mostly cocks. Bogger, I told you I'm not that big of an asshole... and you're not too bad either. I have nothing else to say For a kid, you're alright. Puddin, not sure about the name, but good to meet you, too. It's a toss up between making me hungry or horny, not sure which.

Be it as it may, I want to thank skypilot for the effort he put into this game. He almost never sat down or stopped hiking teams to their respawn all day.
Other than that, it was still a better way to spend a day than working. Face masks are a turn off though...

Yeah, too bad we didn't have a choice on the facemask rule. Mine started fogging 10 minutes into the game and hadn't stopped fogging the whole day. I was blind half the game.

I was happy I spent a lot on my goggles, they didn't fog all day.
