FAH Free Rec game 5/20/09

Hey fellas. We're doing a rec game on our new field tomorrow. I know it's super short notice, but we just got the go-ahead forthe game today.

The field is over 90 acres of extremely varied terrian, 30 of which will be in play.

The game will run all afternoon, so if you get out of work and want to blow off some steam, we'll be shooting till dark!!

This game will set-up what we hope will be an awesome home field in the greater GR area.

Cost: Free

Age limit: 16+

MIA rules in full effect. Please read them in advance if you're not familiar with them.

Alright, well the best directions I can give, as this property has no house on it, is that it is on the corner of Chickering and Ellison Road in Belding, MI. When you are on Ellison, Chickering only goes off in one direction, so if you take Chickering down about 300 yards you will see the entrance that we use.

I understand the feeling, my old comp will barely run any map software. Just google Belding, MI, and you'l get an area map, its at the corner of the streets listed above. Unfortunately, it has no address, as it's just a plot of land...

Sounds like fun. What scenarios have you thought up of for tomorrow. What time are you planning on being out there?

I'll be heading out early, say noon or before to do some fieldwork and arrange parking. After that, it's a free-for all!

On a more serious note, there's deer blinds with slider panels to defend, a large pine forest, old woods with fallen tres for cover, lots of brush, and more. There's a big open spot we could use for attack and defend.

We'll make sure that the games are very objective oriented and keep up a good balance between fast play and MISLIM, and make sure there's not a lot of down time to be sure.

Hey guys, with the map fiasco, if you go to MapQuest, GoogleMaps, etc... and type in "Ellison and Chickering, Belding, MI" it will bring up a map of the location.

Don't know if it's too short of a notice, but here a map that I whipped up, seeings as there isn't an address for the location. It's about as clear as I think I can make it.
