I was thinking something like that myself, but the fact is that people that aim for the head are going to aim for the head...or groin like one twit used to do.... In CQB, you often see situations where the head is the only thing to aim at. One of the few things I've ever done in airsoft and felt bad about afterwards happened at the ACO CQB facility a few years ago. I saw Wookie walking fast down an aisle between stacks of boxes. All I could see of him was his head, and he was neither close nor especially slow, so I fired a burst on full auto and tried to walk it on to the target. Unfortunately, luck wasn't with us that day, because I walked my fire at almost exactly the same speed he was walking. I think I fired about seven shots in that burst, and five of them hit. All of the hits were head hits, of course, since the rest of him had solid cover. I apologized as soon as I realized what happened, and Wookie was cool about it, but I felt pretty bad. I love full auto, and I since I wear a paintball mask for play, I'll take my chances. Nonetheless, I think the arguments for banning full auto make sense. Even with the best of intentions, as I had, sometimes things go wrong.

Yeah you assume the risk as soon as you step out on the field. I remember when me and Kjones did full auto at the winery....that didn't last long.

Which, as I stated before, makes it pointless to argue about this any more.
If you plan on attending this event, you accept that some people may be running full auto. Plan accordingly.
If you don't plan on attending this event, you have nothing to worry about.
It sounds like Hunter and the rest of Zombie Squad have a good idea of how to deal with full auto, let's leave it at that.
The discussion has remained pretty civil which I like, but I feel that any further discussion may be beating a dead horse. If you feel I'm wrong feel free to add some input but keep it respectful.

Speaking only for the Saturday event that I am moderating this issue will be placed to a vote all constructive points will be heard. As our teams medical officer, and a real EMT a full med kit will be on site. I agree with the potential risk and can also see the point of full auto aeg being placed on bar with a $20.00 pump shotgun or an LPEG minus full auto abilities.
My main point being superior tactics can usually over come superior fire power. Please follow the mods suggestion of keeping the post on track, and for me so I can get a clear picture of the size of the event to ensure I am prepared.
Thank you all in advance. Also I am not the doc that has problems in this community in the past.

Don't you Detroit cops have to work the Hoedown? I don't think I can make it Friday, I'll try to Saturday though.

I second Thor's statement, Pm the event host's with your concern, or move it to another topic thread.

thanks mods and everyone else with constructive input, while we don't want to clutter the event thread up, I do need and appreciate friendly assistance. We put it to a vote and only the last event of the night with 3 vs 3 was full auto between all adults who wanted such a firefight.
