We, The Zombie Squad, are hosting on Saturday 5/16/09 at 6pm -12midnight
Games will be objective based with time limits of 10-15 minutes for short games and 30 minutes for long games.
We will now be allowing players to fire full-auto indoors, provided that their AEG shoots at or less than 350 fps. We are NOT posting a player cap. The teams are not going to be limited to 6v6 anymore.
Standard fee of $10 per day is still in effect.
teams will be civillian/black vs camoflage.
For information, please contact Redknight or Hunter for Friday's game, and Doc or Hunter for Saturday's game.

What made you change your mind about full auto?

People pay good money for full auto guns, it is unfair to those who have invested in quality equipment to nullify that advantage and put them on a par with a $20 AEP or pump shotgun. We will be briefing everyone thoroughly on the changes to the rules, there are certain criteria in effect to use full auto. We would like to see folks use mid and standard capacity magazines for instance but at this point we are going to ask people to keep their bursts reasonably short mainly to avoid their AEG begin used like a "firehose".

I can say from experience, there will be problems, and someone will get hurt.

I can say from experience, there will be problems, and someone will get hurt. I can say from our recent discussion and your posts that you since said you were not ever coming back, we don't need you flaming out in here with your negativity. We have new rules which will be explained in detail to those who attend.

I've played full auto there and I'm not sure it's the best idea. People really will get ripped up that close. I know my gun shoots 20-25 bb/s so mine is defonitly dangerous. I'd suggest against full auto. I might be there to film for my video class at school. I'd make a poll for the full auto. Call me a pussy but I don't want to play with full auto again.

Let's keep it civil guys. I don't necessarily like the idea of full auto in CQB either, but if they want to run the event that way and people want to come and play that way, that's their business. I think enough opinions have been expressed on full auto in CQB, let's keep them to ourselves from this point on, mmmk? I'd hate to have to lock this perfectly good event thread with my new mod powers because of some bickering. Keep it on topic about who will be attending and so forth.

Hey man, thank you for the constructive input. I appreciate when folks give us constructive input in the form of polite, helpful suggestions. We will probably put it to a vote since you do make a very good case. We were initially planning on allowing folks with mid and standardd cap mags to use auto only. But you made a compelling argument, so we will discuss it before the event.

Why don't we just do any gun 300 FPS and under play full auto? 300.1 - 350 semi auto? Restricted to mid caps and standards. I know someone will bring a box mag in and ruin it if I did not post this.

I was thinking something like that myself, but the fact is that people that aim for the head are going to aim for the head...or groin like one twit used to do.... Mid caps would be a good idea in my mind, but seriously 300 - 350 is not a big difference, I almost want to say wear heavy clothing and a mask or play at your own risk. Lets see who shows up then see what we have to work with.

i feel that if someone gets hurt it wont be horrible i mean in paint ball we had hits 5 times more painful than in airsoft but as long as everyone followed the rules it was fine

How about this.. If you play *pro* (can't think of a better word), And you have full auto, chances are you will do quick bursts (3-7 rounds at most). Most of the newbies (can't think of a better word) Would just go full auto. So, say basically all ZS members are pro (except bogger), would all be doing quick bursts. So, most of the people there will be using full auto with some touch of experience. If the newbie or ignorant player just hoses down other people, then thats where the chance to unload on full auto would be.
Sounds really, really effed up but I tried my best to explain it.
