Echo and the rest of the gang over on the west side of Mi. are planning a little something for this upcoming weekend. So far there are 10+ players interested in the event so if anyone here would like to go let us know.
This event will not be sponsored by Wolverine Tactical so those interested in going will need to bring supplies (BB's, Gas...) as there will be none available on site.

A change to that: Wolverine Tactical might be there, but they're not sure yet. There is another event up in Muskegon, but they are trying to push that to the afternoon. If that's the case, they might show up. I would still try to stock up on supplies just in case. This should be a good time, (I can't wait to cap some people)  |

I just wanted to clear up the whole $20 fee. Those of us that set this up (mainly Dragon) see none of that money. The place we are playing is a paintball field, so they charge by the person. The fee does include a rental mask, but I'm sure any dedicated player has one. Vertical Mercury came about because a group of us over here had gone over 2 months without a skirmish. Needless to say trigger fingers are getting itchy.
The play field consists of an indoor area with several rooms, and an outside area of equal size. I will say that the indoors can be abit... painty in places. The upside is the indoor enviorment is dark in most areas with only a couple hanging lights here and there. (tracers units work great) Last time we played there Mike brought a smoke machine and for a couple rounds there was a thick haze in the air that made for some tense moments. Outside is littered with crates and old cars and a couple little sheds. It maybe smaller then some of the wide open woods people usually play in, but when you cant help but run into the enemy, it makes for some fast and furious gameplay.
