Now that you've been educated, stop using the term.

Just to set a couple things strait
A: This is America, Freedom of speech

and

B: the American Heritage Dictionary is a book of opinions and dictionary.com is a website of opinions, plain and simple.
Also as you know English is full of double meaning words as well as different definitions of the same word when said in different context.
Ill take another "Offensive slang" word for example. (Ill block out some letters so your eyes don't burn)
The word N***er is a rude racial remark, correct. Although when said, written or exchanged between friends and pronounced as N***a it takes new meaning and is not meant as "Offensive slang"

The same thing applies with the word gook, although there is no change in pronunciation, the meaning is transformed into a friendly greeting/ gesture when used in the proper context.

Now that you've been educated, stop trying to assert nonexistent authority.

Wrong. This is America, but you don't have the right to say anything you want any where you want. And you definitely don't have the right to use the word "gook" here. If you do it again, I'll ban you. Just because the one person you direct your comment towards doesn't take offense to a particular word doesn't mean that anybody else reading this public forum won't be offended.

And for the record, "nigga" isn't necessarily a benign word. A lot of people argue that black people using the word is just as detrimental as white people using the word, "nigger." "I didn't mean it that way so it's not offensive" isn't an excuse.

This'll be the last post on the subject of race and racial slurs in this thread. If you have anything to add, PM me or whomever you want to talk to. If you post about it here and I see it, you'll get a week long ban.

Upon reading Knief's threat of a week ban, and being too tired (pulled a 13 hour shift) to respond in a politically correct fashion. You all know my thoughts. I will leave it at that.

And yes, I will not be running this series of events.

My business partner (Steve Derhammer), Gestapo, and SkyPilot will be running these in my stead.

It is the strong desire of myself and Armory Airsoft to host a series or mini-series of events on the east side of the state. Gestapo here is spearheading that effort with the aid of SkyPilot and my business representative. All standard Armory Airsoft rules will apply, as this i an event at a different field than our normal ones, there are some different rules as well. I trust you all will abide by them as you have done at past events.
