That was a lot of fun. I agree with the statements about camo. I was the realtree/tigerstripe guy, so I was part of the problem. I'll be black next time.
That was my first airsoft game. I enjoyed it for the most part, especially the basement.
Two concerns; the last game was not fun. for one, everyone with experience was on one team, and for two, since it was a respawn game, as soon as the acu folks got to the spawn point, we were stuck IN the spawn. One of the ACU people actually rushed into spawn, (the staging area near the lobby) and shot at us. That's not particularly cool or safe. Second concern was also from that game. At the very end, someone rushed up the ramp. That was cool. Good aggressive move. This is the guy that shoved our man over the bridge railing and broke the stock off his gun. He also discharged a GBB in my face twice. It was empty, but I would have taken two bbs in the face from 2" if it wasn't. Is that safe? I called myself out despite the empty gun, because I was shaken by having someone fire a gun in my face. Lame.
As a side note, I am pretty sure I shot a flag carrier 5 times as he ran from me, but he never stopped. I think if I hit, I must have hit his plate carrier. Is it hard to tell if you get shot in the back of a plate carrier? I'll aim for legs next time. That wasn't a negative experience.
Those were only two incidents out of the entire day. Everything else was great. I enjoyed meeting the people who were playing, and I enjoyed playing.
I do have questions for the hellfish: If someone had an airsoft grenade, (in the style of a frag grenade, like the "twister"), could they use it there? and could you use UHI glowsticks to illuminate a room if you slide it in? Both of those questions potentially fall under the , "don't throw things" rule, which is why I'm asking.
I really am looking forward to playing again at farmington.

You can use grenades, just gotta roll em in. If you were to roll a glowstick into a room, I'm sure that wouldn't be a problem either.

You can use grenades if you just roll them as opposed to chucking them blindly. As for the glowsticks I'd recommend you just get an inexpensive flashlight or something because us refs tend to use glowsticks for referee Identification. As for that incident on the bridge I had head about the broken stock but not the close call with the GBB. We will address those safety concerns at the next game. Thanks for letting us know and for giving us feedback.

Thanks, it really was a good time.
As for the glowstick, the ultra high intensity glowsticks are not something that would be mistaken for a ref. They only last for a couple minutes before fading away. Some swat teams use them in fire hazard areas with a weighted base that breaks 3 or 4 on impact, it's neat.
Having said that, I don't need to rock the boat, so I won't worry about bringing them!

I see you're on black, and I'm on camo for the 7th. Remember the 'stalemate' in the star room, where I shot a water bottle into the room? No more of those with your tornadoes eh...
Hopefully the grenade I'm working on (yes, attempting to build a grenade) will work out correctly, and be safe for use by the 7th.

Just so you know, anything "home made" has to be examined and approved before they are to be used on the field.

YEah I more then remember that. I thought you were holding and setting of 203 gernades, I have nothing else to say. When that went off I froze and waited to be pelted, I cant wait to try my gernade out on you next time

It has worked out good for me, my apartment is covered in bbs from us rolling it into rooms while people werent paying attention. Compared to the vfc ones I like the tornado better. It holds 200 rounds and covers a large area, only a few times did someone not get hit in a room we used it in. I can't wait to try it out on the 7th
