Hahahahahaha @ that 203 thing. Who's idea was that? Did anyone get any pictures of the game itself?

Dunno who had the idea, but it was funny as hell. That thing fired those bars incredibly well.
In game pics? I don't think so, next time I ref I may walk around with a camera. It's not really a picture conducive area.

King: good idea on the camo, although I think you could run into more problems if its not executed well...
Its all well and good if people go with matching top and pants, but where would the; camo pants, black shirt etc. go? Could call that civilian, or go by the bottoms for what team.
I think requiring the player to state the camo they're going to wear when they signup wouldn't be the best idea though. That may potentially cut other players out of a spot if say, woodland got filled up while desert wasn't. Now, if it wasn't required but recommended that they state their camo and stick to it I think that would help. Then you guys could get a better idea of how to organize teams before the game starts. Just throwing out ideas here...

In my opinion you should just have 2 rosters instead of one mixed. Have a green/black based roster, and a tan based roster with 15 spots on each.

Let's go uber MIL-SIM and make it 3-color DCU vs Woodland only!
(joking, of course)
Seriously, it's not too bad as it is now IMO. Marshy916 has a good idea though, but really most of the games now are fine, you just have to adjust what colors go on what team, and there are usually enough in-between people that can fill the spots.
Also, I don't see too much of team confusion because people usually know where (like which side) their team has. Also, it's pretty dark in a lot of places, so you wouldn't see what color uniform they're wearing anyways.
One of the most interesting ideas I've heard came from our team forum where somebody suggested getting glowsticks for each team. One team would be like red, the other blue. Or something of that sort. Yes, it would make it so that you can't really hide in the dark (which kinda sucks...), but it would make team identification much, much easier (especially in the dark).
Anyways, that's just a thought to clear up any team ID confusion.

Say Reaper, did you ever get the chance to run some 4 v 4 today? We were running games all morning but after lunch people lost interested so I didn't keep trying to start games. Great times today in the basement with team FUBAR running train on my oddjob team even though I had single-handedly won 2 rounds. Yeah man I am leader of Team: FUBAR, I was the dude with the no sleeve shirt, I got to play a ton of basment games. I have to say they were my favorite games all day because of how fast paced they were since it is impossible to camp down there I am going to try to bring all my team out next time instead of just three of us.

Hahahahahaha @ that 203 thing. Who's idea was that? Did anyone get any pictures of the game itself? Lutris started it by making a remark about putting the Snow Globe into an M203 and I finished said idea by saying, why not? We then found out that the snow globe wouldn't fit. I got a case of nostalgia and tried to find the old hamburger (from Wendy's) that we had shot up earlier but I couldn't find it. Gestapo and myself then exchanged glances and he broke out his snack bar and without saying a word (aside from the raucous laughter) I began to fill an M203 shell.

Oh yeah Ghast, I loved those 2 or 3 games where you and me shot each other out at the same time. I have never seen it happen with the same two people that many times in a day.

I had fun today. I'm glad I could get the Soc16 dusted off and take out some potential flag thieves with it. The main problem I have with camo is when people that we know will be playing together wear different camo. (SFOD...) It would be sweet if teams or players that bring guests could coordinate camo colors so we don't have to split you up or confuse other players.

Hahahahahaha @ that 203 thing. Who's idea was that? Mine. Ghast and Livonia were trying to shove this little spiny light the refs were using to identification down into Sgt. Scream's 203, but it wouldn't fit, so I pulled out a couple Kashi bars out of my rucksack, and started launchin em at Oakey.

Yes, the idea was a homage to that video.

This sadly reminds me of going to Lansing Lugnuts games. The mascot has a hot dot cannon mounted to the back of a golf cart.

Both days were fun for me. I would be perfectly fine with having a little more strict camo teams. Even if its just Black/swat look vs every camo, or something like that. I brought camo and black on sunday but there were so many in black that I just went camo the whole day. I liked the alien wall thing to help the movement in the hallway.

Everything done to the facility is great, however with the alien takeover wall put up the window in the Christmas tree room could be opened again without much problems. Its nearly impossible successfully entering the Christmas tree room if its occupied whatsoever, making moving up the right attacking side lame as hell. Not to mention you can see movement under the wall.
I do also think people should sign up for a certain team color scheme. I know everyone owns black jeans and a black shirt so I don't think it should be an issue.
