We hope everyone had a good time out there today. I had a good time there today, and I was reffing for most of the time. From what I noticed, there were very few issues.
Any comments or criticisms are welcome. We hope people like what we've changed since last year.

Went a lot smoother than it did with Op Doc running the show.

Went a lot smoother than it did with Op Doc running the show. Word. I did have an issue with guys shooting through cracks/holes in doors once in awhile. Not a big issue, but it would be nice if the refs adressed it more clearly to all people.

We'll definitely make that point, G, but I'm not sure where there were cracks. Can you elaborate on where this was going on? It'll help us fix it, especially if we can just plug up the cracks.
Like Knife, said, let us know about any issues, concerns, things we could change, things we did well, all of that stuff. The more feedback you give us, the better we can make the games for you.
The one complaint that I heard throughout the day was the team identification problem, and it was most assuredly a problem. We really don't want to limit people in what camo they can wear at a rec game, and to some extent, it's low light and you can't see what camo anybody is wearing anyway. So here's what I have in mind for possible solutions. Set up a roster based on what camo people will wear, green on one side, everything else on the other side. The only other viable solution would be to leave it as is, not switch teams around throughout the day, and you guys just sort of have to learn who you're playing with and communicated a little better. It really threw me that there was no clear deliniation in camo choices. At every other game we've run, there's usually been a huge number of people all wearing one color, so we just do ACU vs. the rest, or whatever. That didn't happen today, so any suggestions you all have will help us out (arm bands aren't going to happen, I'm morally opposed to them).

If everyone has something to attach a Cyalume to, either on their backs or front chest (Preferably both) you can do it that way. I was planning on sticking one in my MAP so no teammates would shoot me. Sounds like a fun game though Any pics yet?

I'm working on pics now...
I still suggest we simply assign Camo and non camo. A clear distinction can be made between jeans and BDU bottoms.

When in doubt do as Seven does... SHOOT EVERYONE. I think I killed more teammates than enemies but oh well.

Yeah Seven I got a face full of that friendly fire. But I don't care It was really hard to tell who was on whos team. But that jus added to the game I think, the low lighting made it intense especially until I took off those stupid tinted goggels. All in all I had an amazing day of play even though my face looks like a 203 got it from the amount of head shots i took all day Great game Hellfish you guys put together an amazing event, I look forward to future games.

I believe the dark one in the center is me since I was the only one who wore such dark clothing with a Protec helmet. I know Arc wore a helmet but his shirt was lighter.

That was definitely a classic moment and what made it even better is we made him use a $5.00 springer m-16. Good game though guys. Hopefully tomorrow will be more of the same. By the way the course record for the shooting competition is around 1:11 and 1:13.
