For those of you interested I have done some research on these nuts. Here is what I found.
Real Steel; ICS; G&P; and maybe Systema
1 1/4-16 thread pitch = .0625
All other AEGs
31.5x1.5 Metric pitch = .059
Pitch is the distance from the tip of one thread to the next so as you can see they are almost the same. The 1 1/4 standard nut will fit on the other AEGs but will be sloppy, the Metric nut however will not fit on the Standard threaded receivers.
I have however used a small triangle file and carefully ran it over a G&P Receiver until a metric nut fit on just fine. if you do this try to run it across the threads evenly. kind of rethreading it.
also any triangle file small enough to fit in the threads will work. all threads metric and standard are at a 60 deg angle.
I would not recommend forcing the Metric nut on a standard receiver, Aluminum has a very low melting point and is prone to galling. and means that if you force it you could possibly friction weld it and really screw things up.
