First op I've been to and I loved it. The D-Day was fun as hell. We won both games even when the americans were rushing us we sent them back to the fail boat ;D. So all in all even with the rain it was a great day till I left.

I thought it was a decent game, but that wasn't SFOD's fault. The weather was atrocious and I think a lot of people bailed the night before or this morning because of that. The D-Day games were *fun*, but that's because the tan team was vastly outnumbered and the green team just dominated.
The 300 game wasn't too bad, though we should've taken the opportunity we had with the smoke grenades at the end (even though one of them turned out to be a dud I have nothing else to say...).
Overall the day was so-so because there just weren't enough people, and the rain mixed with temperatures just above freezing just made me soaking wet and cold. But the actual time playing was fun, it was mostly the downtime where I wasn't moving and started to get really cold.

The weather makes it more realistic, war doesn't stop for rain and cold.

Some people do, max. I personally don't. References: Op Bitchin' Cold or that one Rec game where it was raining, there was snow on the ground, and I was running around in the German greatcoat.

Thats what I don't like about 300 games. you respond in place you wait two min. people don't know if you called your self out or not.

I had a blast today. Weather sucked, but that was only an issue when waiting to play. DDay was great fun, rushing up the hill, as well as rushing down with TAM. I think the best games were the ones after lunch though, fighting in that city was a blast. I never had any issues with people cheating today, which is rare.
moped, it's difficult to do 300 any other way. If you have them respawn in a single spot, like the church, people just fire in there and it causes issues. You could do no respawns for the defenders, but that doesn't work with a larger amount of people. The spawn in place is about the best that can be done.

I also enjoyed myself, for it being only my third time out, I was glad to play with a bunch of people that play honorably, and call their hits. It was a good motivator for me to keep playing. Thanks guys! moped, it's difficult to do 300 any other way. If you have them respawn in a single spot, like the church, people just fire in there and it causes issues. I realize the games would be shorter, but then you wouldnt have to worry about any of that...

i had tons of fun. i liked the weather, it makes it more of a challange to move around and see other people. the only thing is that my team and i had to leave right after lunch but it sounds like it was pretty much over after that. i would have really like to have played a night game there, and I'm definitely ready to play there in the snow.

I loved the weather, it adds a whole new element of play. The D-day game where the defenders outnumbered the attackers was fun as hell even though we were vastly outnumbered and every step was hard fought for. The only thing I had a problem all day was the D-day respawn for the defenders, it was right with the dead so it was real confusing, but that got worked out at the end.
