This was a great event and a ton of fun! I look forward to coming to another event at this field.
Id just like to say that latley the FPS limits and engagement rules have not been enforced, people are shooting above the 550 FPS with a .20 his ear got mangled. I really dont want to play airsoft if i have and the event organizers are not doing anything about it. Those rules are set in place to make sure everyone is safe. One guy got shot in the ear, his ear was destroyed! Not just a little blood but his ear was mangled. I dont want to have to worry about that happening every time I play............ So please as event orginizers enforce the set MIA rules. Im not saying it just happened at this event, it happens at a lot of them, but please just start enforcing the FPS limits and engagement limits. This sport is supposed to be fun not so one another gets hurt.

That's what happens when guns are shooting to hot and the engagement limits are not at hear-ed too. They're were a few people that got shot in the face with hot guns. I think if the 550 and over FPS limits are gonna be allowed to play. They should in no way take face shots. It's a game, not a let me see who I can hurt. Blood and airsoft, Not something I'm looking for. I'm sure the people that did get hurt, Didn't drive 3 hours to be blooded by some person with an upgraded gun and a downgraded brain, who won't respect they're engagement limits. That also includes the guy's engaging people at 5ft. with a 20 ft limit, on full auto or even semi. Manufactures have decreased the fps that the guns shoot for a reason, Safety. Why would you think that you have to increase that. Unless your scared to get hit or you suck as a shooter. It's like boxing same size guy, same weight, same everything, but his arms are 3ft longer than yours. You don't stand a chance, and it's not that much fun. My sons sniper rifle (A clone) chronoed at 440 fps with .2's he shoot's .3 it chronoed at 379 with .3's 27 confirmed kills, more if they would of called they're hit's. Is it the gun or the shooter? Some teams out there believe they are above the rules and bring the hottest FPS guns out. Then they make excusses that they know what they're limits are, so it's ok, noboby can even get close enough to them to even attemped shooting but are well within they're range to be shot by them.... So what to do??? We all increase our guns to shoot at unsafe FPS limits? Or do we ask people to bring weapons that do meet the safety guidelines, set by MIA and play fare like the rest of us. I also want to say nobody on our team was injuried. This time! But the way it's going it's only a matter of time before a few distroy the game we all love to play. In Japan the fps limit is 350 anything above that is concidered a firearm and banned. Wonder why? ??

Myself and my guys had a great time yesterday. Thanks to all the players who showed up to make the game as much fun as it was. I'm also sorry for having to sit out of the game due to one of my guys being hurt. He's at home now with ice on his ankle. FPS. I'll say this, and I'm not trying to "ding" anyone on this. Yesterday when I got to the field and I chronoed I realized that I put a 140 spring in my SPR, and not the 120% I thought. My gun chronoed in the 460fps range. The guy chronoing didn't really pay attention to what the chrono said, and told me "20 foot engagement distance" and put a yellow zip tie on my gun. Honestly, I wouldn't have used that gun on the field if I had not drove such a long way for the game. I ended up staying at sniper range from what ever target I was shooting at, and made sure to aim for center mass. I had to exercise common sense while playing, and that's what it boils down too. It doesn't matter what the engagement distance is, and what the fps limits are, if you don't use your head then you aren't playing safe. Point is, never once did you hear anyone that I shot yesterday complain about "that guys gun is way to hot". Next game, maybe a little more scrutinization on the chrono. And next time I'll make sure of what is in my gear box. Bad me, bad me.

Its fine that your gun was shooting that hot. As long as you use common sense and respect your engagement limits. Were talking about the people who dont use common sense or have their guns shooting super hot. Their is no need. Once you go above the limits, it gets dangerous.

Now, i can't help but comment on this, i was the guy who got his face it up real bad at blood dynasty, i had a blood trail from my upper lip to my ear, he was on full auto at about 11ft. not cool. i bitched him out big time, got up in his face, spit some blood by him and all that good stuff.
BUT! i chilled for a few minutes, and it was all good, i wiped the blood around, and got a cool mark for a couple weeks. and some crazy looks from the gals at the post office... but ya. when all was said and done, i recognized and respected the fact that IT WAS MY OWN DANG FAULT I GOT LIT UP IN THE FACE! and i'm not at all angry, i talked to the guy after, and shoke hands even, no biggie. the MIA limit is different from the MOA limits, and while the guns are shooting a bit hot for SFOD's field, MOA's fields are plenty big for hot guns. this isn't a matter of "should we be tuning down our guns" it's a matter of stricter control of these engagement limits by Ref's and exp. players. one way to do this is at the briefing, set up a marker showing people what the disctances are! a lot of people can't gauge these disctances with there minds, and need a visual referance! the other thing is yes, better chrono watching. i haven't experinced any issue with mis-tagging, but people should be holding themseleves acountable for these limits, and not even having to make a ref do it. the other thing is at the chrono station, for gods sake, load the guys gun, dont' let him do it. i know a lot of people who put .25's in to lower their guns... but ya. thats my rant.
in short, it's stupid to make people lower there guns if there still below 550, but people need to start getting tighter about disctance regulation. don't be afraid to punish, and if theres even a suspicion of someone doing it, SIT THEM OUT A GAME! this will make people really be good about it, cause theres nothing worse then hearing battle stories you wern't there for...
and if theres still bit*hing, wear a full face mask and suck it up.

This was my first time at this field and it seemed to be a pretty decent event. The danger of those buldings was a little scary, rusty nails sticking out, sagging floors, and my friend who is new to airsoft broke his gun because of the city.
The gameplay was pretty good with the first game being the best by far. The second gametype was a good idea, but it was too complicated and the rules were overdone. One thing that probably could have made it better was if the DPRK would have only been able to spawn on one side instead of everywhere, and if the American respawn wasnt accross the field.
There was again, like every Op, the people who didnt call their hits and were invincible. It sucks to play against people like that. I mean if you shoot someone, you want them to call it right? Do the same yourself. Also, on a final note, people need to realize that if they dont want to play, dont sit in the middle of the field without clear indication that you are out, like a kill rag. I saw a guy sitting in the middle of the ravine and I saw no rag, nothing to indicate that he was out. Lucky for him, (I was 150 feet away with a KJW m700,) I looked through my scope and saw that his hands were on his knees.
Overall, pretty good game.
And by the way, who was the guy that rolled with us on the left side the first game with the CA g36k?

Ummm, John, why was my post(s) edited(deleted), as well as the responses. I really dont think you have a right to edit what I say and protect your field.
Here is my response that I luckily copied, and I will re-create the basics of the deleted part in the post, below.
My friend was in the city with us and he walked over to the three sticks that are propped up and tied "campfire style" over a hole, near the rear of the city, that isnt visible due to the long grass. He was going to hang something from the sticks and when he got close, he fell in. The hole turned out to be about 3 feet deep and filled with either stagnant water, or piss. Either way, he broke his gun as well as had to throw away his shoes.
My respons to a comment by Erik
There are also a billion other "mines", (They are built basically that same way,) all over the field and they dont have giant holes under them. The grass is also very long and covered the hole completly from view. And actually there were others who fell in that hole, we had a nice discussion about it after the third game. I mean, I honeslty dont see the point of a 3+ foot hole filled with stagnant water or piss, whichever it may be.
**EDIT: To 'Gunman, the body of the gunn is cracked terribly and if he wants to repair it, he will need to buy a whole new body.
