Op-Doc has talked about this before as well. It's a real hazzard. If someone got seriously hurt from falling into a random hole like that, some parents are going to be very po'ed, and someone's going to have a lot of explaining to do.

Great event, I have the pleasure of dropping many people both Saturday and Sunday. I'm probably not going to return to that field ever unless there is tarp over the parking lot side of the field and the field is more taken care of (The things that Doc mentioned).
Good shooting with everyone though.

(PS: Looking forward to pictures, if anyone has some of me and livonia or just me, I'd be happy to see them or get my hands on them)

I will say that the water is there due to campfires that take place on the field...need a water supply to get rid of the fire after its done. Maybe it does need to be relocated if its a safety hazard and truthfully there is a creek 20 feet or less from the village that we can use as well but I guess for convienence we put it there.
Maybe what needs to be done is the grass wacked down to better view the hole and im sorry to hear about your friends gun whether or not it was something questionable to do leaning a gun/hanging a gun on something like that was a good idea I would be just as pissed as the next guy if my M16 or L96 was broken because of something that could of been avoided.

There needs to be a wall/net/whatever around the hole. (Another part of my first post, overlooked it.) He was trying to hang a vest from it because he wasnt going to wear it anymore.

It is a UTG Warkawk (AK-47.) The back of the body by the stock snapped halfway through when he fell into the hole. Now he needs to buy a new gun which he cant really afford. That was his first event, and now the gun he worked hard for is broken.

Yeah, the guy who got his ear fubar'd is my teammate Cpt. Stebbins. I was helping reload for Butterz as my M4 was down, and Stebbins took it in the ear. The spray of blood was amazing. I thought I was in a horror movie or something. Then Butterz got it in the lip. Shame on him for not having his shemagh up, but he was hit pretty hard. Thought he was going to lose a tooth. I got it in the thumb about 5 mins before, and again while I was being medic'd, on the trigger finger, which was a stiff blood blister the rest of the day. I'm not bitching about my hits, I think I was a fair distance away. But seeing blood SPRAY is another story. I agree that limits should be shown physically before the game, as I myself have a hard time judging distances. The games were fun, though, and I did like being able to wipe a lot of people out with my new Marushin 870. Except for the horrid and unspeakeble injury to Canto. sorry about that again, man. If I hadn't been called home for work on short notice, we would have stayed and rocked the night game. My guys were pretty sad to leave, but we'll be back!!

Honestly, I really don't think this event was planned very well. Very unorganized, and overlooked safety hazards made for a environment at which I really don't wish to play at. I love the field, and I would like to continue to play here, but if some things don't get changed, such as the parking lot situation, and the fact there are many hazards by the city on the field, then I won't continue to play at this field.
I'm pretty disappointed by the turn out, and the games in general, you guys had the right idea, but just didn't execute them right.

My shotgun fires 3 8mm at a time. I saw someone crouching in a bunker about 25 feet away and took a shot. At that range, I think he took all three. In the nuts.

Awesome. This is the best double post ever. Mods, real mods. John needs to be revoked of his Moderator Status. He deleted my lengthy post in which I went into everything good and bad about the OP, including major safety problems, and just horribly run things such as paint balls peppering my car and others.
Please keep in mind. I was polite and nice about this in my FIRST post. But I don't think that is needed now, considering the circumstances.[/u]
To sum it up, mad props to Kane for taking tons of shots to the back, including the one he took with me at 30yards from Livonia's L96, we were stupid, but that was fun. And props to Ron, who pretty much raped me from behind.
The field is filled with holes, nails sticking out, the most RIDICULOUS idea ever would be the "mine field". Sticks in the ground with nails in them that have string tightly strung between them. Giant trip hazard, and they are all over the place. The 2 story buildings are held up with 2x4's and tree branches, yes tree branches. And I can't believe anyone got into them, or that I myself did the first time I was at the field.
This field has GREAT POTENTIAL. However, it's not currently being utilized properly.
The paint balls. Wow, where can I start. My car and many others were peppered with the nasty white field paint, which can only happen by deliberate shooting through the netting. The paint ballers were never even talked to that I saw or was informed of. The shots to Doc's car... were so far away from where the paint ball field was that I cannot believe it was an accident. All we were told was "it will be taken care of". And nobody was reprimanded.... oh well.
Overall a lackluster experience. Not very organized. And I won't go to another event until tons of work is put into the property and the paint ball kids aren't allowed on the field when we are.
And lastly, which I posted about 4 hours ago, I apologize for blowing up on the second day, I was out of line, but just very aggravated by the multiple things that people did blatantly wrong. and to blow up at one person in particular was wrong, and I apologize, I was wrong to do so.
Note: If you think you can edit this post, or delete it, go ahead, this time I have it copied to repost quickly.
WAIT I almost forgot. If you want your gun taken out of the box and dry fired by numerous people. Purchase from Armory Airsoft. That was supercool to grab a customers brand new weapons and shoot it around the campfire. +1 for this amazing display of maturity.
