I was looking at the first page with more info on it about this and noticed that it said it would be on Sunday, but the 3rd is on Saturday. I just want to know is it on Saturday or Sunday? If it is going to be on Saturday, I should be able to show up.
Since this would be my first game, I was wondering when would be a good time to show up. Also, if anyone in the Downriver area is going, how would you feel about getting together and driving out as a group?

This is a saturday game. The thread has just been updated many a times to avoid multiples. We usually show up around 10 or so and start by 11.

Cool, I just wanted to make sure before I show up on the wrong day. Like I said, I should be able to make it out there. I know the drill about bringing full seal goggles and the waiver, but is there anything else that I would need to bring beyond the basics?

Clampitt it will be almost an honor to have you to our field for your first game I'll be at the field around 10, game play should start at 11-12. I would bring cash for admission, bb's, gas, food, whatever it may be that you need to purchase. Or, worse case scenario, money to rent a gun. Most of all just bring a fun attitude

Thanks for the info Tex. I figure even though it's just over a 2 hour drive, it should be fun, even if I just get shot to pieces.

Weather forecast looks great, 50 degrees and not too windy with partly cloudy, perfect for putting on every piece of gear you own to keep warm and cozy Hope to see a bunch of you out there, with any luck my RPK will make it's debut.

Sounds like there are going to be a lot of debuts happening this weekend. That should be pretty fun. Now I just need to go get a couple of last minute essentials so that I'm ready.
